I watched a YouTube video where this engineer runs a series of strenuous tests on hardware from different manufacturers. Well, this time around he bought hose clamps from 8 different manufacturers and ran them through pure hell. Every test culminated in the destruction of every single clamp. So, who was the winner? Norma was the clear front runner in nearly all of the tests. This is why I bought a large supply of every single size that Norma makes for my automotive shop. Zero failures to date

Used for Silicon coolant hoses. The inside is smooth so they don't cut up hoses. I torqued to 3Nm.

Worked perfectly on some hydraulic hoses.

Model is W4. According to crimpsupply.com material is 304 which is not recommended for salt water marine applications, instead 316 S.S. should be used. Type of material is not listed in the product description. Clamps are slightly magnetic consistent with 304, whereas 316 is non magnetic.

Works as described

Solid construction means no hose squeezing up through holes and stripping out the worm gear like standard hardware store hose clamps. You can tighten these down more because of that.
