I’m a natural red - or was. My hair has substantially faded by now. Never dyed my hair before, can’t afford salon upkeep, so on impulse, thought I’d try this. Realised I might not get great coverage as I have too much white hair, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Of course the white hairs weren’t covered, but it boosted the reds so well it really brought my colour back to life and the whites are blended in nicely, making everything look natural, not flat. And it is so close to my natural shade you hardly notice I’ve used a dye. Like others I found the mix too thick to squeeze through either of the offered tops, but just took them off. I have a short, but thick bob and have now used the shampoo at least 4 times as I try to work out the best schedule. (with plenty left in the bottle) Looks like I’ll be using it 2x weekly for my preferred depth. Depends on your other shampoos as to how long it lasts. My regular Provoke Shine seems okay but I use a L'Oréal Metal Detox every now & then & did notice more fade after that. All in all very pleased to look like a readhead again!

It’s a lot brighter than it shows. Nice colour but isn’t even. Made parts of my hair bright orange then the rest just washed out, to be fair I haven’t freshly dyed my hair so I imagine if I’d freshly dyed it then kept on top of it with this it would work really well. Doesn’t colour your roots

Brilliant quality for a fraction of the salon price. Before (photo from the salon that did Dia colour L’oréal in september £135.) After (my own at home job of Glaze now in January). I would leave it on 20 mins next time for a deeper colour. really easy to apply and blend. did it myself at home. combed thru at the end to blend it. smells nice and no fumes. leaves hair soft.

Absolutely LOVE and swear by this product, I just wish the bottle design was better. As others have mentioned it is difficult to squeeze the product out of the bottle due to its design, this is especially an issue when the bottle is nearly empty. It seems rather wasteful for the price - I hate chucking it away when it isn't fully empty but I just can't get it all out! It would be 5* stars if not for the bottle design

Sadly, this does not work as sold. I have undyed, dark blonde hair (has not been dyed for over 10 years). I have thick, long hair so used the majority of the bottle as instructed and all signs were promising. Almost too promising as it was a glowing orange. I waited 10 minutes as instructed and then washed it out. The water was supremely orange (as is a part of my sink and my towel) but sadly, my hair remains dark blonde with no visible change at all. I don't recommend buying this - Don't waste your money. I've included after photos.

Oh my days! Do you see this colour and shine?!!! I mixed Copper Crush with a little Glacé Cherry, which I already had, and used them both to refresh my copper red hair in-between dyeing it. I also used the GlaziPlex bonding treatment after and I am IN LOVE with my hair right now. I don't think it's ever looked this shiny and soft, but it also feels much more conditioned and stronger. I'm just getting over a nasty bug plus I'm chronically ill/disabled, so my general health - or lack of it - often first shows in the condition of my hair. My only gripe is the hard plastic bottle makes it difficult to use, especially for those of us with disabilities. Thank you Glaze for making me feel like me again!

Love this! Great as a little touch up when you can’t get into the hairdresser!! Smells amazing and always leaves my hair soft and shiny!

This is for the auburn spice color. My hair is virgin/natural auburn but my color has been turning darker and more brown with age. I have long, semi thick, wavy hair. I took a shower, shampooed twice, then liberally applied the glaze. It came out of the bottle easily and applied smoothly. I let it sit on my hair for about 10 minutes then I rinsed it out. It did not stain my face or hands (I thought it might at first but it washed off my skin easily), but it has left some marks on my shower where I didn’t see it/wash it right away. I used less than half the bottle of glaze and probably have two more uses from this bottle. Results: my hair was immediately softer, smoother, and shinier. I didn't notice any change in color initially and I thought it didn’t do much, until the next day at work. I got quite a few comments about how vibrant my hair was, and how pretty it looked. I took a photo 24 hours (photo on right) after the “before” photo (on left) and realized that my hair did indeed look more vibrant auburn! I haven’t washed my hair since the initial coloring, and only wash my hair 2x/week so I hope the results lasts a while… Now I’m in love with this product. I will try using it on clean, dry hair next to see if that makes it even more vibrant.

So I am a natural redhead. It’s auburn, so it’s a dark reddish-brown. It’s basically impossible to color match. Anyways, about a year ago I wanted to go blonde. I decided after 6 months the upkeep was too much so I wanted my natural hair color back. I used wella and it ended up coming out more of a brown color so I did a light bleach bath which worked but it left my hair extremely dry to the point of it being dangled constantly. It also left me with what looked like highlights and I despised it. I wanted to try overtone but alls they have for redheads is an orange color. I came across this and got it because it was half the price. I went with auburn spice because it says it adds mahogany/brown tones which is what I needed. My hair feels so soft. The color looks exactly like my natural red too I couldn’t be happier. I washed this out in the laundry sink because it does take a bit to wash out. It smells amazing too and my hair feels soooo soft and healthy, it isn’t damaging at all. It says to leave it in for 10 mins, but I wanted these highlights gone so I did 20-25 mins. Totally up to your preference though! The first photo is the after, the second is my hair before. I also had a few inches cut because of the bleach so it left my hair looking stringy and in desperate need of a haircut. I did a blowout on my hair and I am in love with it all over again.

It's an OK product. The differences in hair colour and texture after use are very subtle (I have natural/ uncoloured brown hair). But it didn't cause hair damage, which is a plus.
