Amazing story and perfect delivery

Perfect condition. My son adores the Percy Jackson series

a jolly good read, but you need to read the previous books to understand storyline, but can be read as a standalone

This book is a fantastic addition to the series, bringing back the beloved characters and introducing new adventures. Riordan's writing is as engaging and humorous as ever, making this book a joy to read. The blend of Greek mythology with modern-day settings keeps the story fresh and exciting. I've missed reading Percy Jackson so much. This is a wonderful addition to the series, and I can't wait to read the next two books. This book is really wholesome and incredibly sweet, too. I really felt for Ganymede because you realise that at the end of the day, he was kidnapped, forced to become immortal, and will be Zeus' cupbearer forever. Poor guy gotta feel for him. I'd read a whole book about him tbh, I can't believe it hasn't been written yet. The whole fight with Geras lowkey made me tear up, too. I forgot how high stakes all the previous books were, and Percy embracing old age and actually looking forward to it was sweet. It's a privilege to grow old as a demigod, and him imagining his future with Grover and Annabeth was cute as hell. Also, Annabeth having fans is so real. I expect nothing less from her. In fact, I'd be first in line for an Annabeth meet and greet. I love her so much. Poseidon needs to piss off, though. I can't stand him. I dislike him quite a lot, but I guess he has some redeeming qualities. It's just so crazy and unfair to me that he has to go through so much just to get into a good uni. Percy really can't catch a break the poor guy 😭

O livro e muito lindo😊, chegou rápido, a história e envolvente, achei meio bobinho, mas condiz com a idade de recomendação, estava com saudades do meu casal preferido, eu preferiria se tivesse 1 livro sobre esses problemas e outro fosse de outra coisa q ele fez quando chegasse na universidade.

Ein Wiedersehen der Ursprungsbesetzung, mit der einst alles begonnen hat. Percy, Annabeth und Grover treten als unschlagbares Trio wieder auf den Plan und mit ihnen der vertraute Witz und Charme der aller ersten Percy Jackson Reihe. Denn hier, nicht aus der Erzählerperspektive, wie in Helden des Olymp, sondern aus Percy's Ich-Perspektive, geraten die Freunde wieder einmal in ein rasantes Hin-und-Her-Pendeln zwischen den Welten. Nämlich dem Bewältigen vom alltäglichen Ernst des Lebens und den göttlichen und gefährlichen Turbulenzen der griechischen Mythologie. Percy ist in absoluter Bestform. Schlagfertig wie eh und je und ausgestattet mit einem geladenen Magazin voller Sarkasmus. Annabeth hat wie immer für etwaige Komplikationen einen Plan parat und Grover ist der loyale, hilfsbereite Sidekick, den Jeder brauchen kann. Der Band, verglichen mit anderen Percy-Büchern etwas komprimierter (man könnte den Roman als längere Kurzgeschichte betrachten), macht unsagbar viel Spaß und führt den treuen Leser-Fan in nostalgischer Manier zurück in das mystische und witzige Chaos des Percy Jackson-Universums und macht auf jeden Fall neugierig auf die zwei noch kommenden “Quests“.
