Omega Eucalyptus enriched Italian imported shaving cream tube 100 ml 3,52oz

I tried this soap for the first time tonight and am really happy with it. I have a cheap boar bristle brush and small bowl that came as a set and I was still able to whip up a nice rich lather. I soaked the brush in the bowl with hot water as I showered, emptied the bowl, put in an almond size amount of the soap, lightly shook my brush in the sink and whipped the soap for about a minute. It lathered right up and smelled fantastic. While I brushed the lather on my face it felt very refreshingly cool on my skin. As I'm new with using a straight razor, I'm not very fast. Yet the lather did not dry out, on my face or in the bowl, as I slowly took my time shaving. The eucalyptus scent was not so strong that it was unpleasing but also not weak so that it I couldn't continue to enjoy smelling it for a short time after shaving. Using that small amount of soap I was still able to have enough lather for my four passes and have a little extra. I can see this tube lasting quite awhile. Prior to trying out this soap I was using a Col. Conk Bay Rum puck. While I enjoyed the fragrance, my face always felt tight and irritated for quite awhile afterwards. As if I had sunburned skin that was forced to stretch as I moved. After using this soap, my face feels only slightly irritated (probably due to my inexperienced technique) but it also feels refreshed and clean. Almost like I applied face lotion but without the grease feeling. Even though I'm new to this, I can see this being in my cupboard as a go to item as I try other things.

This stuff is awesome, especially for the price point. I've never been disappointed with anything from Omega, and this cream is no different. Great body, slickness, staying power and cushion. The eucalyptus is present but not overpower, providing a touch of coolness and tons of refreshment. Do yourself a favor and add this to your shaving cream rotation.

This shaving cream and Proraso shaving cream seem to be among my favorites. I have always loved the menthol effect during shaving and I'm so glad at least some menthol creams still exist. My old favorite: Mennen Menthol Iced Lather Shaving Cream has been unavailable for many years, and I really miss it.

There is too much fragrance added to this cream. It lathers very well and gives an excellent shave, but the smell is too strong. I wish they made a fragrance-free version.

Omega was one of my very favorite shave creams. "Was" - past tense. The company must have changed the formula. It still provides superior lubrication. But, the smell - should I say stink. It has a repugnant, metallic, rancid smell. Awful.

I love the Eucalyptus but it takes a lot more than expected to make a good foam for shaving. I now mix it with Pinaud shaving cream to get the eucalyptus effect from Omega and the lathering from the Pinaud.

Bought this as a present for my husband. Just asked him how he liked it and he said "its just average, if we're being honest". Made a fun and good looking gift, but that was his ultimate review!
