Does it's job VERY well, easy to clean and simple to use.
We live in a very low humidity area. In the winter, we do most of our heating with wood stoves which further dries out the air. When we first started using it, I was concerned it didn't raise the humidity high enough to help us. But it does well. My wife and I have a history of our sinuses being stopped up while we sleep and woke up often with dry mouth and throat. Even swallowing was difficult. This humidifier has made a huge improvement for us. Money very well spent! My wife said even my snoring has improved dramatically. She no longer lays awake listening to me sawing logs! It is also very quiet so does not disturb sleep. Nice size does not take up much room. It is very simple and easy to clean and refill. A little less than one gallon of distilled water last us all night. About 9 hours. We only run it at night. We have a small electronic humidity monitor and it raises our bedroom humidity by about 20-30% depending if we leave our windows open. Our bedroom is approximately 14x16 feet. One other great thing that we REALLY appreciate, is no wet floors or furniture in the morning! It produces such very fine mist without the mess! The small green LED light on the power supply makes a nice soft night light without the blinding effect of the annoying blue LEDs. Love it!

Solid Well Built Reliable Humidifier That Works!
The Miro NR07G may not have all the ‘Bells & Whistles’ of some of the more popular & high end humidifiers on the market but the Miro line of humidifiers are some of the most low maintenance, easy to use, well designed, & reliable humidifiers on the market right now. Those that give supplemental humidity to their prized Tropicals (that are not lucky enough to be enclosed within an IKEA Milsbo what techniques or models of humidifier that they use and what they think about them.As for myself, the main grow area of my home is an enclosed 80sqFt office with a SW facing window. I call it the plant room It’s a small space but I’m fortunate enough to have a dedicated grow room for my plants.I’ve been using a refurbished Miro NR7G & it’s been fantastic! I love its compact design & the ability to just refill it by pouring from the top w/o stopping the units operation is genius but most of all my plants absolutely love it.This is especially true for my Aroids which have just thrived since I started adding supplemently humidity. It’s really been like night & day since I’ve started using it & I’ve been easily able to maintain 70%-80% humidity at about 33% power output with my Miro. However, I would have to say that if there are any Cons of the unit it would have to be:1) The size of its reservoir at 4L/1gal is small compared to other models so it must be refilled every 48hrs & 25%-33% power output at >50% power output it varies from an est 6-12hrs.2) The controls of the unit are very bare bones. I do wish I could set my Miro to maintain a humidity % w/o buying a 3rd party humidistat switch. However, the more simple a device is the less there is to break & costs are kept down.3) The Miro is significantly more expensive than similar featured models from competitors, but I will admit that the higher price is reflected in its workmanship & quality.I like to think of it as the Apple of humidifiers & that seems to be the company the Miro models themselves after. All in all I do had to give my Miro NR07G 5 out of 5 Stars because it is a stellar humidifier. I’ve been happy with my purchase.

Easy to clean piece of equipment
Some may wonder why I rated the features listed as all 5 star but provided an overall rating of 1 star. We purchased the Miro because of cleanliness concerns associated with most humidifiers. We created a home-made cleaning tool for our prior humidifier and still could not effectively clean the mildew. The reviews of the Miro product were stellar, and though the price seemed to be a premium for a small humidifier, we decided to buy for health reasons.I found the unit easy to assemble - it worked on the first attempt unlike other reviews. Further, the wide base, which hold approximately 96 oz of water, eliminates the need to carry a heavy tank full of water (a plus for my significant other). Two quick trips trips w/ a large Nalgene bottle is all that is required to fill it. Even without the included sound damper, the unit operates very quietly. The Miro was placed in our bedroom which is approximately 235 square feet with an 8.5' ceiling. After using for the first week, I was able to disassemble and clean thoroughly, though there are a few parts with deep grooves which require a q-tip to adequately address. So why 1 star? We purchased this as a humidifier and that is where this unit fails. I had positioned an AcuRite 00613 hygrometer within 7 feet of this unit as well as across the room in which the humidifier is placed. When positioned at 7', I noted an increase of 3-4% humidity at normal operating level (1/2 power). I then turned the unit on full power to attempt to further improve the humidity of the room. Readings improved slightly however the entire side of the humidifier and the furniture became very wet. In addition, the grooves of the base collected a fair amount of water - the humidification does not appear to extend much beyond the walls of the machine. The impact of this unit running at nearly full strength for 2.5 hours this morning, placed approximately 12.5 linear feet from the hygrometer, is 2%. This is despite the furnace not running much today in our bedroom, as it has significant south eastern exposure and this has been a bright sunny morning. The primary function of a humidifier is to increase moisture content of the air. Though I've not yet measured it, I would anticipate our essential oil diffuser to have a similar impact on room humidity as this machine. It's nice the Miro is easy to clean but if it does not achieve its primary objective then it may as well be wall art. As such, we will likely be returning this for a piece of equipment that meets its purpose.
