Review: Balsa kit, not ready made - Less scale like model but a much better flyer especially if the rubber motor is substituted for a better one.
Review: Model did not fly as built to plan. - Balsa was very poor quality. Some parts had holes were a insect had bored through the balsa before the sheet was cut. The die cut on one sheet of parts was not very good. The wing warped when i shrank the tissue. Tried again pinning down the wing while shrinking still warped. Removed tissue added extra gussets and fillets still warped when shrinking tissue. Plane was unflyable as built. Evetually built new wing from scratch now flies so so.

**Q: How far does the lanser model fly?**
A: It flies pretty well...stable.
I haven't flown it lately, though.

**Q: Do you need to buy glue separately or is everything included with the plane?**
A: Per my husband, you need to buy a separate glue.  He has not built his though as he has plans to motorize it.

**Q: prop diameter?  I've gotten props from different kits mixed up?**
A: Don’t remember. Don’t have that plane anymore. I do remember it flew well, lota fun. And, props were easy to swap out. I tried a couple besides the one it came with. Gosh, that was several years ago.

**Q: Which one flys farther and better, the Lancer or the Javalin?**
A: The lancer requires a bit more skill but has been flown by my children, grand children and I forgiving if you make mistakes s. I want my grandkids to get a hands-oh experience flying a real plane they built and perhaps be encouraged to pursue a career in avi ation
