Out of the box:extremely well made. Double stitching. Reinforced knee area & shin area. Flex materials at knees & sides of ribcage. Yikes zippers as advertised. The cover flap on the chest zipper is perfect. Very unique buttons. Best snaps/buttons I've personally seen. 5'10" ordered large fits great EXCEPT I adjusted the shoulder straps as far as they go tight & it's a bit looser than I'd prefer but it's sufficient. The boot velcro ankle straps for the leg zippers are excellent addition. I'll be wearing them this winter in NY with no jacket just hoodie that's why I got these & they're HEAVYnot too heavy but I got a hunch they'll be warm enough no doubt. Edit: without a doubt the warmest bibs I've ever had! They're way more durable than I could've expected & any dirt or mud just wipes off. Already walked through the woods off path through tickets & thorns & everything else & no tears or anything. It was 30°F with 35mph winds & all i had was these bibs & a hoodie & i was toasty warm. & there's is little to no restriction in movement.

I live in the mountains of Montana near the canadian border and am outdoors year round. I was wondering about some of the reviews about these being too stiff. I find them to be comfortable, more flexible than other extreme bibs I've had, and quality material. They are extemely warm, so I don't wear them til it gets down to single digits and colder. An upper leg zipper going down or some vent zippers would be useful when your working outdoors because you will get hot. I use them for everything from working outdoors, hiking (although you will get hot like I said), snowmobiling, ice fishing, etc. They are the warmest bibs I've had and will get them again.

Very warm and flexible. Only wear them if its below freezing because you will get to hot.
