I did not know enzymes would keep your oily skin in better condition. I would use this on skin that is normal or dry, Just cut back on how many times a week to wash. I wash with it 3 to 4 times a week, once a day. This enzyme powder rinses easily, and you do not feel any sort of grit or residue. It feels smooth. After I pat my face, dry, I splash you UREA lotion which I ordered on Amazon. It’s a Japanese brand. This keeps your skin balanced and does not strip it. UREA lotion (I don’t know why they call it lotion because it looks like your sprinkling water in your hand) UREA replenishes lost moisture in your skin. I learned this from Dr Shereene. I have never been happy with using hyaluronic acid. Every time I use HA my face felt tight. Dr Shereene informs her followers and patients there’s too much hype with HA and there are better moisturizers, such as, glycerin. I watch Dr. Shereene Idriss on YouTube. She is a dermatologist in New York and she’s a straight shooter. She tells you if products are a waste of money, gimmick or too aggressive. In one of her videos, she said to wash your face with enzymes to clean it well. But she did not say what products? So I did research on Amazon. When I opened the package I thought, “This is going to be a waste of money - small bottle. I’ll be done with this within two weeks.” I judged too quickly. You only use a dime size of powder that you sprinkle in your hand. Don’t waste this because it is expensive. Well, maybe it’s not expensive for some people. There is a slight clean scent. Nothing that aggravates my skin. These enzymes gently clean large pores and whisks away the excess dirt, sebum. If you use an extractor for your blackheads or whiteheads. This enzyme powder softens the imperfections in your skin. I will never use another aggressive face scrub again! It is not sticky or have any adverse feeling on your skin. I would definitely buy this product again. In fact, I will make sure to always have this enzyme powder on hand. This is a powder you sprinkle in your hand. Tap the container it in because if you pour it through the spout, you will end up wasting it. Use a dime size of this powder, and then put a few drops of hot water from your hand. Stir it with your finger, rub palms together and wash your face neck and chest. The powder turns into a soft bubbly cleanser for your face. It is not drying. It does not burn my skin. I have mature, large pores, sensitive, oily, uneven skin. Follow up with UREA and then moisturizer.. I wish I had this product when I was in high school and had acne. Parents, buy this for your teenager. They will thank you!

Works great! Soothing and gentle enzyme that is a delicate powder and with water a soft and foamy cleanser. It lasts a long time. Use about a teaspoon.

This is a very nice little soap that comes in a granular powder. It doesn't sting your eyes at all, and it is very easy to feel where it is because it makes a thick foam. It rinses nicely and pretty quickly. I thought it would be gritty, but the soap dissolves quickly with water. It comes out very fast from the top, so it is a little hard to work with the container. It's a nice product, but I won't buy it again, because I don't think the enzyme has enough time on your face to do anything.

I love this cleanser and have used it twice a day for the past 7-8 years. It is gentle enough for everyday use yet strong enough to remove makeup and leave the skin clean & soft. I like the gentle exfoliation the powder provides. Also easy to travel with on the plane since it does not count as a liquid.

I was first introduced to this product a few years ago, when I received it in a subscription box. After finishing the bottle, my daughters asked if we could get some more. At the time, the product was only sold through the Hanalei website, and they didn't offer shipping to Canada. So I ended up buying some from people who received it in their subscription box but didn't plan on using it. Fast forward to this year, and we finally ran out of our entire stash. I was so pleased to see that Amazon now offers this product, so we were able to place an order with free shipping to our Canadian address. This product is awesome. It's very mild while great at cleansing your face. Just pour a tiny bit of the powder into the palm of your hand, and with the other wet hand, just rub your hands together to create a lather. Highly recommended!!
