Tan vs. Clear Strips- Each have their uses
I have tried both the tan and clear versions of these strips and I think both have their uses. First I will list the similarities between the two: - both are much larger than I expected. I am using them for a scar on the side of my nose and I cut them to the correct size. I can get about 5 uses out of one strip. This makes their price much more reasonable. - Both last about a day for me. The packaging says you can leave them on for up to 10 days, but I exercise, work outside, and sweat a lot, so I tend to take them off each day. I think that if you wanted to shower in them, the clear ones would be better as they would not hold water. The tan ones have the texture of a cloth band-aid and hold water when they get wet. - Both are equally comfortable to wear. I have a latex allergy and very sensitive skin and have had no issue with either. Tan Strips: - These are easier to use than the clear ones. It is much easier to get the backing off the strip and to apply it because it is thicker than the clear strips. - The texture of them is different, very much like a cloth band-aid - Due to their thickness, they don't seem to stick quite as well as the clear strips. However, I am using them on my nose, which has a crease. They may stick better on flat skin. - I like to use these when I work outside because they provide sun protection. I was told that it is very important to keep sun off of scars, and my scar is on my face. You cannot put sunscreen on underneath these strips as they won't stick, so using the clear strip means that your scar will be exposed to the sun. The tan strips block the sun well. Clear strips: - These are much more discrete than the tan strips. When you are wearing one that area is a bit shiny, but otherwise they are quite invisible. - It is VERY difficult to remove the backing from the clear strips and once the backing is off, they tend to roll and stick to themselves. With practice you will get better, but it will always be a challenge. - These seem to stick slightly better to curves and creases (e.g. the side of the nose) than the thicker tan strips. - I wear these when I want to be discrete and not have an obvious bandage on my face.

Good product
I have been using these for over a year after various surgeries and I like how they protect the scar from friction with clothing and help with healing.

It works!
These are amazing! I have used both the clear and the cloth like ones. They both work. The cloth like ones are easier to apply. Depending on where you are going to use them, they may or may not stick to the skin well. I used the clear ones on my arm just above the wrist. They stayed on very well. For many days. Probably average of 5 days. That scar is gone! Then I had anterior cervical fusion. Neither of them stick well to the skin on the neck. I am now using the cloth like ones and I put a piece of surgical tape over it. That holds it in place for as long as I want to leave it there. The surgical tape starts to look kind of bad after 5 or 6 days so I take it off when that happens. It is amazing the difference it made in that surgical scar the first time I used it. I did start using them as soon as the doctor would allow me to, probably 6 weeks after the surgery. I can see a difference each time I remove one.

Significantly improved my knee surgery scar.
Worked for me. I have had two total knee replacements and these have significantly improved the scar. They stick very well and you do need to make sure you have no oils , creams, etc on your skin or hands when applying. I highly recommend.

Works great on scars
If you have a choice, i would recommend the gel instead of these sheets. They came off of my knee easily and the gel works very good.

Good product and can use more than once.
These are good silicone strips but I had a couple issues. One was if you get any bit of water on them it will make the edges lift. Also, if you have to use the scar medication to prevent scarring make sure to give it time to absorb into skin before applying the strip otherwise it won't stay on. Oh, you can wash them and reapply after letting the strips dry which is nice because they are pretty expensive otherwise.

Love it
Love these sheets. I had a melanoma removed from my face. This has helped reduce the scar appearance. It’s great value for your money, easy to use and beneficial in reducing the scar on my face.

Over priced! Kept falling off and did nothing for my scar.
These sheets are way over priced. They were not effective at all. As a matter of fact, the strip didn't have enough adhesive on them. When the strip came off it was with filled with grime!
