Love this magnet set. Got this for my 4-year-old son. It was great for learning toy, however, the small parts are very small and I would recommend using those particular parts only under adult supervision, as they are magnetic and dangerous if swallowed. I did have a couple of the small red "U" shaped magnets that broke in half after only a few uses, which was a little disappointing. However, the set offers so many other great items inside that the "U" shaped magnets weren't missed for long. Would highly recommend this product.

I highly recommend this product. The magnets are well-made, sturdy, and perfect for young hands. My three year old and five year old stayed engaged and busy for more than 30 minutes which is a win in my house. It comes with an activity book that includes ideas and activities to do. I highly recommend this set.

I purchased this kit for home use - I have three boys - and needed something that had enough pieces to occupy them all, while minimizing the fighting over pieces. This kit is great! I was very impressed with the strength of the magnets. We had talked about magnetic properties before getting the kit out, and my nine year old was bragging he could make opposite poles stick together. When we got the magnets out, he was amazed to find these were so strong he could not force them together. (Bonus points for impressing a kid who is sometimes getting too cool for school.) There is a large enough selection of magnets there was no fighting among my three boys as they set out to explore what would stick to the magnets and what wouldn't. There is a small activity book included, which also gives a brief history of magnets as well as a few ideas to showcase magnetic properties. Please note, a previous reviewer was correct in stating this kit no longer comes with paper clips, but we had some around the house - and they are so cheap - I didn't hold it against the product in the review. My four year old is currently making faces with the magnetic balls, paper clips, chips and wands - and has requested I get it out for him to play with three times in the last 24 hours. (I have to admit, even I like playing with them!) Bonus - the magnetic properties of the small pieces make it super easy to collect any items that fall on the floor - a quick sweep of the wand and you have all the loose pieces. If it continues to hold everyone's interest, it will likely be repurchased around Christmas time as a gift for my nieces and nephew.

Couldn't say enough good about this gift. It's educational and entertaining for my almost 4 year old and I can see he will get value out of this gift for years. Definitely small parts with the magnetic balls and small disks so we have to keep them away from our baby, but big brother gets lots of enjoyment. Contains a variety of magnet sizes, traditional u-shaped, bar, and Horseshoe magnets with lots of magnetic disks and balls to pick up.

Good set. I got this on a lightning deal and I probably wouldn't buy it at full price. I bought it for my 4 and 2 year old and we all like it. We don't really need 6 of the wands and I wish they would have diversified. The wands are the strongest magnets in the box though. The other smaller magnets aren't very strong, though the horseshoe is strong enough. We like the variety of balls and chips. And I love that they provided a nice storage box!! It opens nicely and is sturdy. Everything goes back in with room to spare, so no cramming. So overall a quality product, a bit overpriced, with some really good features and some smaller magnets that need to be stronger to be very useful. I'm glad I bought it (at a lightning deal price).

I got this for my kids because I remember loving my magnet kit as a child, it’s amazing how kids are fascinated with magnets. We have given it as a gift too and it’s a crowd pleaser.

As an educator you look for products that are going to last and by the quality in which these products are made, I know they’re going to last. They are colorful and the magnets are quite strong in all but two magnet pieces. Not disappointed at all because the students had a blast using every bit of this kit. Definitely recommend it!

I bought this kit for my son's "homeschool" preschool. So much fun! I was a little apprehehensive at first, I wanted "real" magnets, not plastic coated magnets. This kit is perfect for preschoolers! It came with a little booklet with information about magnets and a few activities. My son LOVES this kit, and pulls the box off the shelf to ask to play with it EVERY DAY! That's another plus- this kit came in a storage box! THANK YOU! =) I would definitely reccommend this product! One thing to be aware of if you're thinking of purchasing this for smaller ones, the magnetic balls that it comes with look just like colorful gumballs! BE CAREFUL!

Good quality magnet kit. I use these in my STEM classroom and ids love them. I bought this it for my grandson as i wanted a good quality, educational set without gimmicky toys and large enough for more than one child to play with.

This is a nice kit but there’s too many wands for the rest. I wish there were as many magnetic horseshoe as there’s wands and more magnetic marbles specially for a classroom. Horseshoe we can buy separately but haven’t found any magnetic marbles sold separately. The wands are really strong magnets. Each kind of magnets have their own strength I guess there’s a reason in science for that! Overall a good and fun to play with.

Resistente e robusto, colori vivaci, il bimbo di 7 anni è rimasto felice. Gli istruzioni sono da leggere da un adulto, ma anche è intuitivo cosa si può fare.

My son loves this kit, which we bought him for Christmas. It has a variety of magnets, bar magnets, horseshoes, all sorts of things. He also thinks it's cool to pick up the chips and balls with the other magnets, and it's been a great introduction to the concept of attracting and repelling. He likes to make things with them, and we're planning to do the experiment with him where you put iron shavings in sand and have the magnets pull out just the iron. I think he'll really enjoy this. I know it's meant as a classroom toy, but it works well for home use too.
