I have hypermobility syndrome. and have problems with my post tib tendon - it's very painful, So not so much with the exercise.. I wish I found this product sooner! It stopes me going over on my ankle and prevents more damage, and helps on the road to recovery. It shouldn't be worn all the time as that will weaken muscles n ligaments. The bone structure can be taken out n the support can be washed. Although we are grateful for the prescribed ankle braces , those are not aesthetically suitable for nice weather and need trousers/ jeans to conceal them. But after only wearing it 3 times, (and not for long periods or heavy exercise, just walking and for a few hours max), a 1/2 inch sized hole was worn through the synthetic material.
