Great add for my dyi project.

This cable is great for what it is. For me though, it was too stiff, and the cable was too short. (Inside STX form factor computer from internally mounted GPU to VGA panel mount hole on IO shield). I also expected the holes to fit the cutout for RS232 or VGA, but the spacing was too far apart, so this was a complete fail. Not the product's fault though. This is probably great behind a TV for a chromecast or, a DIY project, something along those lines. Edit: With some really long 4-40 screws and some ridiculous bending, this can wedge into a VGA/RS232 blank. Ideal screw spacing would be 25MM but the actual spacing is 29MM. It is secure and not going anywhere but the sides are a little bowed. Still needed another extension cable to finish the project but this is not an issue. Cable works great.

So you want a panel mount HDMI port? That's great until you purchase this one, and when it arrives, you realize that the angled end is so large that it will not fit through any panel cutout that is designed to fit properly on the front facing end. You'd be better off buying a straight cord and attaching a 90 adapter to it after you've properly mounted it to your panel. Lesson learned.

Didn't work with my TV (Insignia TV, using Amazon fire stick).

The right-angle plug is very low-profile, allowing plenty of space between my solid mounted tv on the wall.
