Love this stuff! Very nice smooth texture. No shine at all, but pretty good hold. I've got pretty voluminous hair that stands up well and this stuff works perfect. The scent is subptle but nice, can pin point the notes, but it doesn't stand out or is very noticable. I've got a faux hawk mullet kinda style going and this stuff keeps the business in the front and playful in the back. Even next day with little water this stuff still hold well and gives that cool 2nd day look. Washes out real easy with just water too. Gonna keep getting this. Been recommending it to others

Premium, worth using!

Johnnys chop shop products never fail to amaze me. I’ve tried HUNDREDS of different kinds of hair gels, creams, pastes, pomades, etc. and this is by far hands down the best hair styling clay I have ever used. It keeps my hair in a high hold for 2 days! Plus it never makes my hair oily after the second day like most other gels. 100% would recommend this product.

I love this stuff! I have very fine, limp hair and this gives it a bit of texture and volume while still maintaining hold. I like to run a small amount through my hair after a shower and let it air dry. Then I scrunch up my hair and finger shape it. It gives you that "day at the beach" hair without the sand and salt water. The scent of the product is herbaceous and woodsy, I personally really like it.

This product would probably be good for natural hair down to 4a hair type. It did not work well in my relaxed hair as it "strips" the relaxer out making my hair look frizzy. It works as it says - it did not flake, has very little fragrance - it just was not for my hair type. When I washed my hair, I noticed that it stripped some of my relaxer out leaving it frizzy looking. It should state something on hair compatibility in the description.

I have not tried a product like this before. But I really like it. It’s not at all greasy first of all, but you get great hair “control” . As often as possible, I love to drive with the top down on my convertible... with stiff drying hair products, once you lose the stiff control, it’s “over” hair wise. With Johnny’s Chop Shop, all you have to do is run your hand thru your hair as you wanted it to be and you’re good. I definitely will be a steady customer!!
