But I have only used it on frames and other smalls. **Q: Can this be used on metal? I'm looking to change up my bathroom and was wondering if I could use this on the towel rack instead of buying a new one** A: Yes I have used it on metal. And also a little goes a long way. Perhaps a clear spray seal or finish would keep it from wearing off after a lot of use ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great stuff *by A***R on 30 September 2026* This rub n buff is really great stuff. It is the first time I ever used it, and I just want to use it on everything. It works on metal, plastic, wood, and probably glass. It will make a cheap looking shiny gold lamp look like it was a curated piece. I have made plain wood picture frames look like gilded gold antiques. I have refreshed so many objects. I am obsessed. ## Frequently Bought Together - AMACO Rub n Buff Wax Metallic Finish 3 Color Kit - Antique Gold Grecian Gold and Gold Leaf 15ml Tubes - Versatile Gilding Wax for Finishing Furniture Antiquing and Restoration - 3 Rub and Buff Colors - Mister Rui Chalk Wax Paint Brush, 3pcs, Chalk Paint Brushes for Furniture, Small Wax Brush for Chalk Paint, Acrylic Paint, Milk Paint, Natural Bristles Stencil Brushes, No Shedding - F|S FRAMER SUPPLY Amaco Rub 'N Buff Wax Metallic Finish, 3 Color Grey Assortment (Ebony, Silver Leaf, Pewter) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kr/products/578921883-amaco-rub-n-buff-wax-metallic-finish-3-color-kit](https://www.desertcart.kr/products/578921883-amaco-rub-n-buff-wax-metallic-finish-3-color-kit) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Korea* *Store origin: KR* *Last updated: 2026-11-01*
