Great for grooming my dog!
I have a mini poodle and this replacement wide blade cuts the grooming time down. I am still a little slow as my dog - Bento is still a puppy and getting used to the grooming process.Well madeDecent priceEasy to installMake sure to clean and oil before and after every use to extend the life of your blade

Tested on badger and horse hair, with success
My wife is a new dog groomer, so I’m collecting these blades on Vine to give as stocking stuffers (is that lame?) so I’m doing my best to test these to give an honest review. She would kill me if I simply tested them on our dogs, so I scrounged the garage and found an old horse hair scrubbing brush and a badger hair face shaving brush that I no longer use. I attached these blades to this fancy Heiniger clipper that I’m going to give her for Christmas and went to town on these brushes. The badger brush simply didn’t even prove challenging. I thought the horsehair brush might put up some fight, but the bristles didn’t even get the chance to bend before they were sheared. The blade cleaved right through them, leaving an even and consistent cut. I didn’t shave the entire brush down, because I have three blades to test, but I think if these are sharp enough to handle coarse horse hair, they can handle a poodle.

Dull blade
I am very disappointed with this blade. It leaves three lines as you clip and is not very sharp. I want to return it. I used it once and it was worse than any of my dull blades.

Pretty good
This blade fit my Andis clippers very well, snapping into place easily. They clipped smoothly for a while, but seem to dull a little more quickly than brand-name clipper blades, especially when the animal hair was not perfectly clean.

Wider than normal clipper blades
This are wider than normal clipper blades, you can trim a wider path in less time and it's a good when the dog your grooming don't want to be standing on a grooming bench for long periods of time.

Great blade, cuts through thick Aussie undercoats!
The media could not be loaded. I'm excited to have found such a quality blade to trim my Australian shepherds. Their coats are so thick, with a heavy undercoat that requires a very sharp blade. I had no difficulty making my way through their thick coat. I do make it my habit to brush and wash them thoroughly before grooming them, but even after these steps some blades are disappointing (the ceramic ones are a complete joke). This stainless steel blade is not technically Andis but fits perfectly with my Andis trimmer. Excellent, I highly recommend it!

Not a long lasting blade
Even though I oiled these and cleaned them throughly during use and after, started off sharp but I found them dull after my 5th use. Most high end blades last me twice as long. That being said I clip dog and horses and really make my tools work. This blade might be fine for someone not asking a lot from them.

Cuts smooth
I needed to do a quick trim down of my dog's legs before heading out of town and grabbed this blade. She doesn't like her paws shaved so I don't have time to mess around. These cut very smoothly through her tight curls. It's nice to have the extra width too.It cut shorter than I like for her especially for the winter. On the second leg I angled it differently and got it more the length I like. I usually use a blade with a guard which tends to tangle in the thick fur.
