SRAM Spare - Crank Arm Bolt Kit Self Extracting M15/M22 GXP Black: Black

Luckily got the right size, fits the same

I bought a standard crank puller (2nd hand bike) thinking I could get the crank off, sadly the bolt puller bolt disappeared into my bottom bracket with nothing to resist against. I tried using a coin, but it was too soft. I measured the bolts internal/external holes and found that my crank bottom bracket (ISIS) were the same, so gave it a punt. Came off a treat. I read in the instructions you can also use a park tool CWP-6 but that didn't seem to be available.

At first I thought, "how much for one bolt!" But then realising that no one had an m15 x 1mm die to make my own I decided to buy. Fits well and sorted my wobbly crank out. Seems odd it's made out of aluminium though due to the amount of torque needs to be applied to tighten it up properly. Cranks still in though so would recomend.

Label clearly states what its for so not sure why its called SRAM [ who I think did take them over] but its clearly for a Truvativ crank and NOT [quite] SRAM Bolt will fit a SRAM road Gxp BUT extractor is of no use whatsoever as its tiny. If you only need the bolt, which was all i did[ and i commute on the bike so did not want the hassle of returning] then buy it, if you need both bolt and extractor look elsewhere for a more accurate/honest description of what the product is Disappointing

Excellent product could not get my chain set off this puller did the job with ease.
