Great Narrow shoe
Tight narrow fit, but super comfy and I have about 25 Rounds in them and they are Still like day one. Definitely like.

Favorite Golf Shoe I have
Every round I play I wear these and thinking back to before having them, it was night and day how I play now. These FJs keep me grounded on every shot, gives me confidence in all areas of the fair way and sand, but most importantly keeps me still when it matters!

Best golf shoes I’ve ever owned
Purchased these golf showed last year (older model) and wore for over 50 plus rounds. They are still on feet shape and the replaceable spikes just extend the life. Felt a lot more traction in swing when using. New foot joys are very expensive but getting the same version of an older model is the way to go.

Hallmark shoe, but takes effort for proper fit
Function- Best ground stability shoe I have owned since metal spikes were banished. I tend to have Scottie Shefflerish-like happy feet if they are not glued to the ground. As each new season goes on and I get stronger, my swing tends to morph to a Jon Rahmish-like short, hard, and don't blink or you'll miss my turn into the ball type swing. In both situations, at my age, I don't have the balance I used to have, and body/club alignments can go to junk if my feet aren't stable. The Alphas hold my foot stable inside, and have many wider spaced spikes which reduce unwanted rolling of a foot.Size/Fit -I have been able to walk into 9 1/2 W of what are now the FJ "Originals" for decades. I have what is called a "high volume foot". They are not "big". I just have a wide forefoot and a high arch. Certain cuts of shoes just don't work sometimes. I struggled with the Alphas. It took 3 orders to get a capable fit. Final size was 9 WW. It gave me a snug fit without rubs or blisters. I think the heel might have generated blisters if I had not worn puffy ankle socks. The stability heel cup is plastic and I can see people getting wicked blisters if they don't make certain their heel is secure.Boa style?- I have the plain Alphas. Maybe the extra BOA tensions could cure any ills for fit. I have the basic Alphas with a tweak. I switched out the thin OEM laces for a set of beefy laces usually found on basketball sneakers. Added a nice bump to foot security and comfort.Looks - I'm too old to be wearing fancy-schmancy golf shoes. And these (white/silver) definitely are a tad hotter looking than my usual blah-classic styles. But I'm willing to put up with some wisecracks for the extra balance/stability.Use- 8 out of 10 times I walk, and play 2X per week. I have played a dozen rounds with them. IMHO, If you get a nice fit, there is some breaking in. Fit and comfort optimized themselves in about 3-4 walking rounds.Who-wears-them?- Pat Cantlay who has the stillest feet in golf when he is "on". There are a few other guys on the regular age Tours. But a bunch of guys are changing over to them on the Champions Tour. No surprise. As we hit 50s+ all of our fast twitch nerves and muscles that control balance/stability start to fade/slowdown. (Well, except for Bernard Langer ;) These shoes definitely help out, and definitely improve ground use in a swing.Conclusion- With supply chains all messed up, finding different sizes at stores to try-on is an adventure. And you MUST try them on. IMHO, these have the wonkiest length and width dimensions I have ever experienced with FJ. FWIW, I went 1/2 size smaller than usual and extra wide, instead of just single wide.But... with patience and finding a good fit, it is a super shoe. IMHO3, When they killed steel spikes it made it way more difficult for new golfers to learn a steady stance and swing. And made it more likely advanced golfers would develop the dreaded spinout feet.IMHO4, I look at people at the range and so many are sliding, spinning and losing balance because their feet aren't fixed to the ground. The Alphas are the best solution to these problems in 25+ years.5 stars for a great shoe. Minus 1 star for having to fuss with the fit and FJ's bellyflop on distribution/promotion.

Very comfortable!
I have a hard time getting shoes of any kind due to a high arch and a wide foot, but FootJoy had the size I needed and they have felt great from day 1. They feel great and also "play" great, doing what golf shoes are supposed to do - stabilizing my feet during the swing. The arch support is good and the cushioning is balanced with firm support - just right. I've had great luck with FootJoys over many years of playing golf and after keeping my last pair for over 10 years, it was an easy decision to get these. I expect to have them a long time.

Comfort
I have played four rounds of golf, plus multiple driving range sessions. The shoe is perfect, very very comfortable, no "break-in", no blisters. My wife thought I was crazy to buy the white shoes, but am very pleased as they look just as good as the day I received them. I follow the directions on how to clean (simple damp cloth wipe down) and polish the shoes (doing this now after four rounds). My feet stay dry, cool and supported perfectly.

I never thought a golf shoe would make such a difference!
This shoe is incredible and for the first time, I really felt the ground effect during my swing. And every time I hit a golf shot, straighter and farther, my golf buddies shouted "it's the shoes!" Well actually it was. These are terrific shoes, great foundation, great footing, comfortable, etc. As for value -- absolutely worth the money ..thank you "Footjoy! "

Worst golf shoes ever
I do not recommend this shoes at all. The size is about 1 size bigger, They give blisters, they hurt the sides of your ankles. If you want to have a bad round of golf these ones are great for a bad round of golf. They fit awful
