This product is amazing. My hair has gotten thinner due to medications that I take. This product has really helped my hair not be frizzy, hold its curl and gives great shine. It indicates you can use it on wet or dry hair. I tried both and for me found that it worked best when my hair was almost dry. I still use a mousse and then once my hair is almost dry put this on and it's been great. About 4 pumps and the bottle last a month.

First I bought this because it’s alcohol free and I have to have hair products that are alcohol free due to my dry scalp!! And I have fallen in love with it!!! A little bit goes a long way! My hair is down past my waste and it only takes 2-3 pumps!! It makes my hair soft and shiny and feel and look so beautiful!!! And I can even use it on my hair when it’s dry not wet and it doesn’t leave my hair looking greasy at all! I only use 1 pump at that point and that’s plenty!!! I absolutely recommend this if you need something to help keep your hair looking shiny, soft and healthy!!!

I have thin,fine, curly, tangled hair. I love this product so much. It doesn't weigh the hair down or make it greasy. This is the only product that can tame my awful frizz! It also smells amazing like fresh lemons! Truly the best!

I really wanted to like this but it ultimately dried out my hair. I don't know my exact hair type by number but it's curly, not course but not fine. After 2 weeks of consistent use, I didn't like the way my hair felt - dry, especially the ends. I would say it's worth a try for the price but wouldn't go so far as to recommend it. The scent was fine, not strong and it was a thick which is what I was looking for in a serum. I wear my hair curly and only put serum on when it's wet and I go. No need to mess with it again until the next wash (usually within 1-2 days). Reading all of the wonderful reviews it feels like I received a bad batch - lots of comments on great smell and moisture which was definitely not the case for me. It did help with my fly aways and shine which is why I say you should try it. The search continues ...

I loved the product! During the past 4 months I starts trying the mixed chicks products, and now I am using the entire mixed chicks line, from shampoo to leave-in. I can say for sure that the mixed chicks line are perfect for my 3b/3c curls. This hair silk is very good to long-lasting effect of the overall treatment: it keeps my hair moisturized and I am very happy to include the product in the routine treatment of my hair!

My daughters are mixed race with very frizzy hair, although this serum does not take away the fly away frizziness it does make their hair extremely soft and easy to brush through. Many products we have tried make the hair sticky but this does not leave any residue and has definitely changed the texture of their hair for the better. The leave in conditioner is definitely needed if you want defined curls in mixed race hair though.
