Leaks and does not close up all the way
This is not a very good needle valve I'm trying to throttle carbon dioxide and first thing that happened is the seal around the valve shaft leaked so I tightened up the packing then it will hardly close you should not have to put any pressure on a good needle valve to stop flow but this thing I had to use some force to get it to close up completely so to me its junk Im taking it out and putting a ball valve in its place which will be better than this thing by far .

Leaks
Looks hefty but it leaks on the inlet side through the threads. I tried a bushing and a nipple. Same problem with each so I’m confident it’s the needle valve. I’m 24 hours away from leaving to sail to the Bahamas and I can’t replace this. Only running 800 psi for our desalinator. Very disappointed!See my water maker build on YT “Salty Escape”

No sirve, dice que soporta 6,000 PSI, pero con 3,000 - 4,000 PSI no trabaja, deja ir todo.

Bigger than it looks
Used in an RO system and was surprised how hefty it was. The valve only turns about 70% of one turn, I thought it would have 2-3 turns in it. Makes for a very small window between full off and full on. Overall, solid quality and after several days of being in or near the salt water, it only has a couple minor rust spots (as expected, stain "less" not stain "proof"). Overall, good quality for the money!
