Kind of an old world charm but very grandmotherly looking.
Yes, I'm of that age. These work well but do look very ma-mawish. I blouse my shirts over them so they don't show. I'm old but danged if I want to look it.

Nice assortment
I like these to 'cinch up' skirts and dresses to make them fit better. I recently lost quite a bit of weight (my own choosing) and these really help to transition through the sizes to make clothes fit better. They are all very pretty...certainly better that regular safety pins. Would make for nice touches to coats, jackets or sweaters as well. Would recommend.

Pretty
These are really pretty and hold up pretty good. There was only one silver pen in the whole set, that's disappointing because I am a silver kind of girl. I get lots of compliments when I wear them.

Very pleased with purchase
These are nice. Gives me a variety of closures for blouses that show a little too much cleavage or anywhere I need to connect fabric. They are not heavy duty, but I don’t need them to be. I was very happy with this purchase

Don't go thru fabric well
While the selection is varied & fun, the actual pins themselves do NOT smoothly go through fabric, which I guess is reflected in the price. On the larger pins, it's as if the pin part is too thick - wouldn't go through a t-shirt or even a hoodie weight top. Maybe it would work on a coat - haven't tried that yet. The smaller ones are somewhat better, but you have to be really careful not to snag or put a hole in the fabric. A few of the pins had really rough tips which i filed down a bit with a nail file. I'm keeping it because one of them works well for the specific sweater I bought it for, but it's going to be a challenge to find other clothes that will support the pins. It's too bad because it's a really clever idea. I would have paid a little more for a little better quality.
