Worn for three Ultra's so far - good hat!
Good hat. Only thing is the flap is just a little short when wind is blowing.Other than that, captures sweat well and overall keeps head fairly safe from hours in the sun training and competing.Washes well with the rest of the running gear, hang dry.

Perfect for running in the heat and sun
I have used this on several runs in Austin, in the middle of the day, with the temperature over 100 degrees. It keeps me cooler than any visor or hat I have used over the past 30+ years of running, from Australia to Asia to the U.S. The fabric is light and lets the air flow through. The back flap actually channels air over the back of my neck, and the visor is slightly wider than normal so my face is well protected. It is a generous sizing, and easily adjustable. I take a larger size in caps, and it fits comfortably. It would also fit a much smaller head, with the rear elastic adjustment. I recommend it very highly.

Good hat but snug fit
This hat should work well in a hot, sunny environment. It fits snug on the head. I have a 7 and 5/8th hat size, and I wish It were slightly larger. When I don't want the back flap down, I just pull it through the loop in the back. My wife says it looks stupid, but it works well. I will probably modify the headband seam to make fit a little better, because you can always make the hat tighter with the loop at the back. The hat breathes well, and is a soft mesh fabric. I like the dark underside of the brim for reducing glare.

great hats for my little sailors
My 10-year old twin boys (who are very fair skinned) were in a sailing camp this summer and needed something to keep them well-protected from the sun on their daily adventures in Lake Erie. These hats were awesome. The hats allowed us to use much less sunscreen and still keep their faces and necks sunburn free. There is an adjustable strap that can make it tighter or looser, which kept them on their heads even in the wind. I would love to see these hats in some slightly darker colors, though. The white gets very dirty after just a few wears, especially in a lake and with little boys! Overall, though, I'd rather they wear a stained hat than get sunburned.

Good for sports
I'm hardly aware that I'm wearing it. Its light weight and apparent flimsiness may be negative for some, but it has provided ample sun protection for me while running and playing pickleball at altitude (6.500-7,500 feet). I have a big head, so I haven't needed to adjust the fit with the built-in loop; it stays on while running. The neck flap is light enough to be unobtrusive. I can't judge its durability since I've just started using it, but so far so good.

Worst color choice possible
I have several of the regular hats from this company and love them. This hat is great....in the worst possible color. Shows every speck of dirt and in less than a day, you can count on it looking dirty, permanently.

Helps to keep a cool head under the sun
I had a similar running hat that I used for over 15 years, and had to replace it because it now has holes and is threatening to tear. Took it out for a 20 mile run on a Saturday morning, and it was exactly what I was looking for - great protection for the ears and neck. If it gets really hot, you can pour water on it and get nice evaporative cooling.

If your head is 7 5/8, look elsewhere
I wear a men's 7 5/8 hat and this cap was hard to put on, hard to take off and because it was so small, painful to wear. Because it was so small, the material ended up tearing unfortunately near the brim. I will say, the material itself seems nice, it's a poly mesh. The whole hat is very lightweight. It does have a funk to it so it would need washing. The bill was curved and a bit stiff which, would probably ease in time with wear and washing. Made in El Salvador. I like the hat but, it's not going to work in my instance so, I'm returning it.
