I sent this as a gift and recipient said it was beautiful. The pleasant surprise was that it bloomed multiple times. I have sent different ones every year and this was the best of all of them.

This waxed amaryllis is one of those rare products that actually feels a little magical. This was beautiful and my mom loved it. When the flowers had faded and withered away I decided to try and pot it. First of all what looks like wax was actually plastic and took wire cutters to cut it off. Under that was a rubber bag of sort that I cut off too. There were healthy roots definitely bound up. I put it in a cheap pot with good potting soil, the pictures are a month later. Insane amount of growth. I have given it some miracle gro. So don't toss it, repot it. Will definitely buy another. If it matters I live in central Florida.
