Great for 1-2 cups of coffee
Works great on my older model studio apartment size gas range, all 4 burners are the same size and this kettle fits solidly on the burners. Heats quickly, been using this a couple of weeks to heat water for my pour over coffee each morning. Love the gooseneck, simplifies poring over coffee for sure. I like the silver, looks nice on my stove top. Very pleased!

Perfect size for a hot tumbler full of Tea or coffee for the day.
My Wife was looking for a small Tea kettle that would make just enough boiling water for 1 too 2 cups, or in her case her Tumbler. This fit the bill perfectly, and works quickly with our induction stove top. There is no whistle to this kettle so it is not a turn on and forget type of kettle but that is not needed in our case.

Cute but smaller then appeared
This kettle is very cute. Had to assemble the thermometer to the lid; thermometer appears to be accurate, like the red marking indicating 190 the perfect temp for French press coffee brewing. Kettle is very dainty looking, must fill within 1/2 inch of top to have enough water for my press but as long as I remove from heat when it hits the 190 it doesn't boil over (did allow to come to full boil once to test whistle but boiled over no whistle) since I am usually making my breakfast while using this kettle don't see a problem again the 190 marking has been helpful for at a quick glance I can see it while occupied with other tasks. Handle design is very nice though if you have large hand might find tiny but doesn't get hot. This kettle should be used on the smaller burner to prevent handle from possibly heating up. This kettle is very eye catching cute, the black exterior looks very nice since I usually always have a cast iron skillet on my stove top with this little kettle it is a nice decorative look if someone stops in. Quality of kettle appears to be good only time will tell; interior polished so yes needed to be thoroughly cleaned to remove production residue but I simply used a small amount of dawn dish soap and a soft bristle bottle brush to get inside then I did the full boil to ensure no soap residue remained (can ruin a perfect brew). Since I am on a well system I do filter my water beforehand and intend on doing a biweekly kettle "clean" with a small amount of vinegar to prevent "scale" build up which is the usual breakdown of most stainless kettles. So far very satisfied with appearance and function just wish it was maybe 4-6 ounces larger.

So far so good.
The kettle is nice looking enough to leave out on the kitchen counter. I will be using this to heat up water for pour over coffee, and because of that I tested the pouring capability and it works great at a very low pour rate which is needed for pour overs. The next thing I did was to test the accuracy of the thermometer with a digital automotive meter that has electronic sensor probe, I stuck the probe into one of the 3 holes on the lid and began to heat the water up. The orange scale on the kettle thermometer is the idea range for making coffee of any type, so it is important that the scale be correct, and it was to my surprise, but that's just mine, others could vary since it is a mechanical thermometer, so it would be wise to check yours. The handle is very well attached and it stays cool even up to boiling, which is past the orange scale. Normally I make comments about complaints because I've found that most negative reviews are entirely user error. In this case the complaints were not from user error but rather product problems I going to address. I haven't had the product long enough to find out if rust will occur, but I strongly recommend that after you dry it that you leave the lid off so any remaining water will evaporate. I do know that water currently is not leaking from anywhere but again that could be just my sample, or perhaps haven't had it long enough for leaks to develop. I did drink water out of it to see if had any unusual metallic flavor and didn't detect any even after swirling it around, then after heating it up and tasting it, I got nothing, there was comment about someone who had that issue, that would be a huge fail for me because I don't want some odd flavor getting into my coffee and ruining my coffee. As of right now, I am pleased with the product, if later issues with rusting, or odd metallic flavor starts to happen, or the pot starts to leak, I will be back to amend my review.

Simple but effective kettle, great if you have a Chemex
Excellent tea kettle, especially if you enjoy making pour over coffee. Or just need an easy hot water pour with more control. It heats up water incredibly fast, so I’ve never had to listen for a whistle. Great for the price!

Good Value, Useful/Unique Thermometer, Hot/Difficult Lid
I like it for several reasons and it's a good value. 2 flaws: (1) The thermometer/handle gets pretty hot & the lid is so tight that you really have use effort to get it off, to the point that it can be a little noisy; (2) if you fill it most of the way it boils out the spout a bit. Otherwise, I love the thermometer design because I'm sensitive to water that's too hot and particular for tea temps & it's great for certain functions. I appreciate the ergonomic handle for my arthritis & it doesn't get too hot fortunately, despite how little the kettle is. The non-splash spout is nice & I find it calming, and I appreciate not having to open & close it every time :)

The little kettle that could..
Arrived in new condition, with no dents, scratches, or leaking seams. I like the size, it holds enough water (with out boiling over) for my 20 oz. travel mug. The lid was very tight when it first arrived, but after filling it with 21 oz of water and bringing it to a boil, it appears to have relaxed and the lid loosened up some. I was surprised while heating it up the first time... there were a lot of creaking noises coming from the kettle, but they did not occur after the first boil. I guess the metal de-stressed, or what ever, with the first heating. I like it.

Has a small dent, but overall looks good and doesn't boil over.

Buena compra. Me gusta más el terminado mate, pero eso no interfiere en su función. Claro que la recomiendo por el precio.
