WeiSen Hood Hinge Ditch Light Mounting Brackets Compatible with Nissan Frontier 2005-2021, Fit Xterra 2005-2015 2nd Gen for Auxiliary Off Road Pod Work Light

Before I bought this one, I ask if I can use 4” pod lights and they said “no”. But I still went and bought this one. (On the description, it’s says 3” only). You can change that now because I put 4” auxbeam pod lights here and no problem at all. Check my photos and videos and I think 5” can fit too. But I haven’t tried it. Only issue I can see on 5” is pods will heavier and it might cause wind noice. The bracket is rock solid. It barely touched the edge of the hood and it’s perfect. I recommend this for those who have 2012 Xterra. This one doesn’t move with the hood. I prefer this kind of bracket personally.

Fits well on a 2008 Xterra Need a 10mm & 12mm socket and a 10mm wrench. Took 15mins per side. 4 original bolts will be left over after the included (longer bolts) are installed. Had to slightly trim the cowls in the corners of the windshield.

These are great. I tried to find other ways to mount my lights but it turns out these really are necessary. The makers did a good job of shaping them just right so that they fit into the available space without hindering hood movement. Took maybe 10 minutes per side. You really don’t have to take the fender all the way off. Removing the two 12mm bolts by the headlight, and the five 10mm bolts (3 along the top edge, and 2 behind the door) is sufficient. There is enough play in the fender that you can hold it out of the way with one hand while you attach the brackets. I used an impact driver to make it extra easy. Great product!

Fit perfectly wish I would have got it sooner alot heavier then I was expecting will definitely hold up to abuse

Seems like a nice product instalation would be easy but I realized they will not work if you are running a snorkel so I had to return them.
