Why did you pick this product vs others?: Redmond has an excellent reputation and that’s why I bought it. I couldn’t get the grinder to work and read several reviews about the poor grinder quality. I took the grinder apart and discovered there is a protective seal over the opening. I removed this and all is well now.

I think it's user error but i cant seem to get the grinder to actually grind the salt down at all. That said, this is an excellent salt provider and I buy from them on the recommendation of my doctor for a health condition that requires me to consume a lot of salt, so quality matters. Just maybe get your own grinder and buy the bags instead.

New favorite salt! The only reason I still use Morton's in my diet at all is for the iodine. Didn't really think I'd ever become intentional with regard to the salt I use. But here we are, and I'm glad I got here! This is superior in flavor to other salts, true. Redmond also provide a mineral analysis for their salt. The fact that they care enough to provide analyses to their customers, and that the product is by its very nature 'Made in America' is more than enough for me. The fact that it tastes great is just bonus.

Best salt you can buy

Like other reviews have mentioned, the grinder does not work. You get big chunks of salt and it doesn’t work well at all.

No added crap, no gluten fillers, just salt. What more could you ask for.

Such a disappointment. For all the rhetoric about being organic they seem to have overlooked the use of plastic with their dispenser. Such a shame that a really good salt is ruined by this cheap, nasty plastic 'grinder' all at a massive price point. This should be highlighted to potential purchasers.

My recommendation is to buy this salt in a different packaging, because the grinder doesn't really grind - using this one you'll get huge chunks of salt in your food.
