body scrub
This body scrub came with both the jar and the box wrapped and protected. This was the first time I came across a scrub in a glass jar and to be honest, it made me a bit nervous. My shower stall has only a few shelves, and I was nervous that this could get knocked off, It's supposed to have a coconut-coffee aroma, but I honestly barely detected any scent at all. That was fine for me. Since the instructions advised focusing on "tricky areas like elbows, knees and neck," I took it to mean it wasn't meant to be a facial scrub. The consistency seemed a little liquidy when I first applied. And so then I stuck a finger in to mix. After that, the consistency was thicker and, well, more consistent. I did not apply a lot but what I put on felt fine. It also left my skin feeling good afterwards. This is made in India and the importer is based in NJ. I am not sure what the benefits of caffeinated beauty products are, but I checked out the company's website and saw that mcaffeine has a good number of products. Its About page explains how the co-founder came to learn about caffeine and what it could do.. Interesting stuff.

Different from any body scrub that I have tried before, pleasant coffee aroma
Body scrubs are normally a hit or miss for me. Sometimes they are so oily that they leave slimy residue all over my skin and shower. Other times, they are so abrasive that they cause irritation and redness. This body scrub actually doesn't contain ANY liquid. It is just a dry powder that you have to mix with water as you apply it. The coffee fragrance is soooo nice! I love everything coffee so this is right up my alley! It's all that I smell so if you aren't a fan of coffee scents, this probably isn't going to be for you. The scent is pleasant but not ridiculously overpowering. I don't smell it much on my skin after rinsing off. Application is MESSY to say the least. If you try to apply the dry scrub to your wet skin, a lot is probably going to get wasted. I strongly recommend using a small plastic bowl to mix the product in. Add in the desired amount, add in your water, mix until it reaches the desired consistency, and then apply from there. You waste a lot less and it's sooo much less messy! Once mixed, the texture is decent. When mixed properly, it does cling to my skin fairly well. I like to use it on my drier areas and areas prone to cellulite. I wouldn't necessarily say that this is a gentle exfoliator but it didn't cause any redness or irritation. After rinsing, my skin felt super silky and smooth, NOT greasy like it has when using many oil based coffee scrubs.

Grounds?
I love the smell of but does nothing more than coffee grounds out of my coffee machine couldn’t do.

Received the product with expiry just over a month away
This is one of my most favourite products and I order it quite often. But this time I received an almost expiring product and I’m super disappointed. I didn’t expect this from Amazon or mcaffeine. It’s a goddam body scrub and imagine using an expired product on the skin! Extremely extremely disappointed.

Scrubs the skin
I tried out the Naked and Raw Coffee Body Scrub, and, it's quite the experience. This scrub is a mix of coffee grinds and coconut oil, and it feels absolutely amazing on the skin. I mean, it's truly phenomenal. But here's the thing—you've got to be prepared for it to make a mess. This stuff is literally coffee grinds in a jar, so when you use it in the shower or bath, it's going to get everywhere and turn the water brown. It's not the cleanest experience, but hey, beauty is pain, right? Overall, despite the mess, I have to say, the results are worth it. My skin feels incredibly smooth and rejuvenated after using this scrub, and the coffee aroma is just divine. So if you're willing to deal with a bit of cleanup, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.

Great Scent and Moistures
I really like he smell of this coffee body scrub. I like that the coffee body scrub is great for tan removal and ingrown hair reduction. I like the fact the it helps in removing tan and dead skin. I like that the body scrub exfoliates, gets rid of dead skin, removes tan and polishes your body, to keep it fresh and healthy. I like that the body scrub leaves my skin feeling soft after use. I like that it helps to moisturize my skin. It suggests to use on your neck, shoulders, knees, and legs once or twice a week. It makes a little mess so be sure to be in the shower when using. I suggest leaving this in the bathroom and not near the kitchen can be mistaken for real coffee.

Difficult to use
This product has the appearance, scent and consistency of medium ground coffee beans. That's it. It is just a container of powder. I have never seen an exfoliant that isn't mixed with some kind of cream or gel base to help the product stick to and slide around on the skin. The instructions say to use it in on wet skin and I was expecting it to foam or releases some oils, or do something other than act like ground coffee that I had attempted to plaster to my skin with some water. The feeling is very rough on the skin. It didn't really want to stay on the skin, except for the little pieces that clung to my skin after I thought I had washed it all off. It made me and my shower look like it was coated in dirt. I couldn't wait to rinse it all down the drain. The results were mediocre. I have had better results with my shower body brush. If there was coconut oil in the product, I certainly couldn't tell. This is a product of India.

This melted in shipping and arrived separated. Now it needs to be shaken any time I go to use it, but it works. It smells nice and leaves my skin feeling soft.

Better to take some coffee waste from the office coffee machine trash can.
