Very stable, supportive, breathable, and comfortable. The quality is very good. The sole is the perfect height. I have walked on multiple different kinds of terrain and have always been comfortable. I can walk all day without sore feet. They have decent arch support. However I did take out the insoles and put in orthotic inserts because I have very high arches. Luckily the shoes are durable and have lasted a good while. I wish Brooks hadn't stopped making this style. Their replacement model is not nearly as comfortable, supportive, or supportive. Review: Brooks are Great! - This is my fifth pair of Brooks. I can say that Brooks is the only brand I will wear now. Great shoe; great support and comfort. They are lightweight and have an ample toe box. I can't say enough great things about this shoe. This particular shoe, my latest order, was received in a beat-up box, no tissue inside the shoe, no tissue covering the shoe. It looks like they were returned, placed on the shelf and then sent to me when I ordered. I inspected the shoes and they are fine, so a keeper. They were recommended by a lot of podiatrist because of the way your foot worked inside of the shoe.
