Thank goodness I found them !
Excellent product delivered quickly. These dark chocolate Tea cakes are delicious and not easy to find in the shops. I am delighted to buy them from Amazon.

The better version of the tunnocks teacake
These are impossible to find in supermarkets now. But if you like tunnocks tea cakes, and dark chocolate, you’re onto a winner! They’re much better than the standard milk chocolate ones, the dark chocolate pairs so well with the marshmallow it’s not sickly and this handy pack of 3 boxes is great. They never last long here, I’ll have to reorder soon!

Out of date and rock solid
Bought as a gift: opened them up, bit in, and they were rock solid. Checked the boxes and they were out of date in Jan 2025–I can only assume they were stored somewhere horrible. Big disappointment.

I need these wholesale!
Whenever I visit my daughter in Scotland, if her local Co-Op has them in stock (anything between £1.25-£2.00 usually) I'll always grab a couple of boxes to bring home with me and then eat at least 2 boxes while I'm there. Honestly, they are *that* good. I'm obsessed with dark chocolate biscuity things (and dark chocolate chocolatey things too, but that's for another review!). Price wise, these have been on a par with the Co-Op's "regular" price rather than the bargain £1ish. I wish more sellers offered bulk buy options as it is a bit more cost effective than multiple units. But it's probably just as well! Plenty of shelf life on these, although not a chance in hell of them lasting that long with me around. If you have never tried these, DO!

Not a lot different
Liked the dark chocolate but not a lot different to the normal ones. Several squashed on arrival.

Crushed because of poor packaging
Lovely taste. However, it was packed in a paper bag and arrived crushed. Not what you want for a teacake treat.

Leider keine dunkle Schokolade. Sofort verschenkt. Ich meine ich hätte dunkle Schokolade bestellt. Ich mag nämlich grundsätzlich keine Milch Schokolade

I read people raving about these on a website and having now eaten some, understand why they love these. The marshmallow is artisan--soft and fresh; the chocolate's delicious and doesn't splinter as you eat it, and the biscuit's perfectly seasoned and crisp. Was going to give a few away as a gift but am instead keeping them all for myself.

We were introduced to these in Scotland. They are incredible. Everything you remember from Mallomars...back in the day. They are addictive. Great shipping and arrival on time despite distance. I wish they had a subscription option...
