FLOWER PRESS THE ONLY TEDIOUS THING IT IS STILL 4 WING NUTS. i WOULD HAVE THOUGHT AVER THE YEARS THERE WOULD BE A BETTER Developments. A LITTLE TEDIOUS SCREWING ALL THE WING NUTS UP OR INSCREWING THEM. Saying that the flower press does a very good job. I pressed a few flowers that I love from my garden . Left them a few weeks and looked .I thought wow they look so beautiful. Now I need to in cooperate them into making pictures or similar.

I’ve been using this press for over a year now and it does amazing. Perfect for pressing small to medium sized flowers. Rarely can you fit the roots, but for its size it gets the job done. Good for field adventures where you don’t want to carry a large press along.

Works great, though if the corners get tightened unevenly I can hear the wood straining. Still, dries plants quickly and thoroughly!

As someone who grew up with access to a carpentry shop to make presses, this didn’t meet the same standards of professional equipment. But for my friend who had never pressed anything before, this was a great gift. It is conveniently sized, easy to use for beginners, and is a very functional press for small scale projects. It holds up very well, but I do caution with how tightly you screw in the wing nuts as some of the wood seems like it could very easily crack or splinter if you tried to clamp down too hard. Overall a wonderful purchase for someone who is looking to upgrade from pressing between the pages of a heavy book, but not ready to make the commitment to heavy duty or large clamps. Very easy to work. Made some lovely pressed flowers from my garden. My granddaughter and I then put them in a little hanging frame and they look so pretty hanging in a window. Takes about five to seven days to dry and press them.
