Alpine Corporation 11" Tall Indoor Animated Christmas Village with Moving Train, Hot Air Balloon and Multicolor LED Lights, Tabletop Christmas Decoration

Just to let customers know this is very big and tall I'm going to say almost 2 feet tall. It has a lot of sparkles which I'm not a big fan . I'm returning it because of what I wrote above Besides that it looked like it was good quality and pretty.

It’s big and very nice. It would be better if it did something else, such as have chasing colorful lights down the ski slope or have one more thing that moves. It has three things that move: a rotating Xmas tree towards the top, a rotating 3 inch diameter plate with three fixed ice skaters near the middle, and a 8-inch diameter rotating train at the bottom. It has five independent things of white LED lights that are fairly bright. Roughly 60 lights I counted. It might be better if they were colorful lights instead. It’s nice that it plays about six different short Xmas songs but the volume is not adjustable - either off or somewhat loud. The train makes a slight noise like something is rubbing, somewhat minor but can be heard six feet away. For the price, it could have been slightly better. Overall I’m satisfied and like it mostly because it’s big and bright and like the songs it plays.

This is a beautiful piece. We've had it for 2 years now. But, wow, could not figure out how to make it more compatible with our Christmas village. WAY too many lights. So, today, I cut off almost all of the fairy lights, just leaving a few here and there to light up some of the houses. I tried nail polish last year to try to get them warmer and not as bright but cutting the lights off is way better. The moving features already have very bright lights on them wired separately to light them up. Now it's just right! Just find the end of the light strand that isn't tucked into the mountain. There are several loose ends. Then cut small pieces off until you're satisfied with the look. I found it has about 3 different fairy light strands.

If I could give it 1/2 star I would! Bottom plate housing internal wiring looks like it should be screwed in but when that failed they hot glued it. As you can see, it didn’t work! Also the train catches on the internal wiring that hangs down from inside. In addition to these two major issues, there were hot glue “strings” and blobs of glue everywhere! Worst product condition I’ve ever received!

Very nice fiber optic Christmas decoration.

I was so excited to get this. I’ve always wanted a bunny village for Christmas, but the moment I opened it I was super disappointed in the quality, especially for the price. First thing I had to do was pick off a bunch of the stray hot glue strands that cross-crossed all over it. The blobs are so big on some spots that it’s very noticeable and takes away from the look. There are skiers at the top and it looks as if they are meant to move, but they don’t. The paint job is so awkward, especially on the humans, it’s a little bit creepy and the detail that the listing pictures showed is not what you get. The train kept getting stuck on the track and we couldn’t figure out why until we noticed there was a piece of the cave jutting out on the left that was catching the train carts and we had to break it off for it to work. The big fluffy trees on the left have puffy snow on them that can easily fall off. My toddler reached for one and a bunch came off in her hand, so it is not safe for littles that put things in their mouth. The music is ok, although there are a couple of flat notes in some of the songs which makes me wince. The paint job on the houses is honestly the nicest of the paint job. I wish the rest of the items had that level of care and detail. The lights are pretty and lightly flicker with the music. I do like that you can have it on without the music playing if you want. Overall, I can’t decide if I want to return it. I was so hopeful and it was such a let down, but it’s still a pretty piece to have.
