They are good value for the money and I have had Bluebirds using them every year. They weather to a nice light gray over time, but I have not detected any rot. Squirrels did partially chew off the critter guard on two of the boxes, but this year I pried off the damaged guards and replaced them with new guards I made.This winter while cleaning out the boxes, I notice that on some boxes the screws had almost pulled through the mounting boards. This happened because the growing trees increased in diameter over the years. My solution was to remove the boxes and re-attach to the tree using rust proof deck screws that where twice as long as the original. I also installed the mounting screws with one-half inch protruding from the board so that the tree can grow without pulling the screws through the mounting board. With that lesson learned, when mounting the two new boxes, I used the longer deck screws and did not screw them in tight. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Best Bluebird House On The Market *by T***M on Reviewed in the United States on January 20, 2020* Really good job on the workmanship on these birdhouses. He was concerned the birds might not nest if the inside of the houses got wet.
