My wife took it to the Philippines and it worked great

Within 30 seconds of turning on the straightener, the temperature started going wonky - as I tried turning it down, it was jumping up and down, then I started smelling something burning. The temperature went up again and the smell increased so I pulled the converter out of the wall quickly.The hotel was fairly updated and had lights that only worked when a key card was inserted. The appliances were newer and everything kept very well. If it could handle a washer/dryer, it should have been able to handle a straightener (with converter.) The converter had to be the issue.They gave us a refund, but we’re still out a straightener.

It was a great convenience to have when traveling in Scotland this year.

This is a nice-looking power converter with a compact design. It has 3 attachments that slide on to the U.S. prongs while they’re folded up. They feel secure when they’re pressed all of the way on, but it’s not the smoothest operation applying them. All of the outlets are working as they should, here in the U.S., but I’ll have to wait until we travel again to test how well the converter works. Also, the most wattage that it can produce, if it’s converting power, is 1000 W… so I can’t use it with a hair dryer. But, otherwise, so far, so good.

Great converter! Easy to use and lots of space for our electronics. Customer service is great as well. Definitely recommend.

This product does not convert the current from 240 to 110. It burned up my curling iron within about 40 seconds, after making a strange sizzling sound. I heard the sound, realized what was happening, but wasn't able to pull the cord out in time, as it happened so fast. Do not buy this product for travel. (I used it in the Philippines in a very modern hotel in Makati, where I conducted business for a week. There were no power outages or signs of problems with the hotel's electricity.)

Powered a hair dryer.

If you only need adapter to plug USBs and USBCs, you are covered and everything charged through those ports was fine. But I used a flat iron, which is supposed to be supported with the converter option and it ruined my iron forever. So I would not recommend the converter function. Also it gets overheated so do not keep plugged overnight.
