I bought these for post surgery scars. They were only for use for a certain period of time post surgery per my surgeon's instructions. Easy to apply, cut to size. I loved how soft they were. They were gentle to take off of sensitive areas without pulling too much or hurting or pulling hair. My skin was soft underneath. I definitely would buy this again if my surgeon or doctor recommended I use scar sheets. They felt nice and good quality. Surgery scars take a long time to heal, so there is no magic potion for getting rid of them, but I am sure these helped with healing.

Years ago I read about a study that silicone was extremely useful for healing scars and wounds due to it creating the perfect microclimate for collagen re-building. At the time there were zero products for this use, so I had to source a thin sheet of silicone and tape it on. When products did hit the market they were expensive. I was so happy to see that now silicone patches are dirt cheap and this cut-to-size tape is perfect, you can cut the exact size you need and not waste anything. Last week I suffered a deep dog bite on the back of my hand. Not the first time it’s happened, but it’s the first time it took a little chunk out of me and my hand swelled up and got infected. Had to go to urgent care. The pain was excruciating. I had an oozing gross wound for 2-3 days and then a very thick and itchy scab developed. I ordered some of this tape and slapped it on around day 4. I cannot believe the progress. After about 24 hours the thick scab had dissolved and the wound was visibly closing up. Without the scab there it allowed it to keep draining too which was a good thing. I’m now at day 8 and it’s almost fully closed up and the redness is much reduced. I’m hopeful that starting with the patch early I’ll be able to avoid a bad scar. I’m constantly injuring myself and this is a much worse wound than normal for me, yet it’s healing so fast. I have also been using a red light too. I immediately ordered another roll and had it sent to my parents, because they are always getting little scrapes that take forever to heal. Best thing is that this stuff is SO comfortable, it stays put, it’s held up fine to handwashing, and it doesn’t pull on your skin the way a bandaid does. It moves with you and doesn’t hurt to remove. If you peel it back a few times a day to check your boo-boo the edges will start to lose their stickiness, but if you don’t touch it can last 24-48 hours no problem. Will update when I know for sure if I avoided a scar.

Works well quality is good

Love this silicone tape. You can use any length you need without finding scissors. There are tiny perforations every couple inches so you can tear it easily. It still stays waterproof when you use it. Tape stays on well, and I never had an issue while trying to apply it to my skin. From what I read, it is reusable, though I haven't tried it yet myself. It says you can wash it and then stick it back on the sheet you peeled it from. I haven't been using it long enough to know if it is improving the skin where my scar is, but it should work the same as other silicone tape. My scar feels protected from anything rubbing on it as well. My scar is not shown in these images, though.

Excellent for scars, adheres well to the skin and are long lasting. I have been using it for several weeks now on my cesarean scar and it is noticeably diminished. I wore it continuously during that time, not including showers. I have not had any sensitivity or adverse skin reactions. Very highly rated!
