Got an older drill from brother in law but the original batteries were shot. These replacement batteries are working fine and the price is great. No problems so far.

This is the 2nd set of non-Makita battery packs I've bought for an old but 14.4 functional drill / 1/4 impact gun set. Last set lasted for 2 years, and I'm not easy on tools.

1st set of 2, one died just after a year with minimal use and always recharged before use if they sat a while. One is still working. They seem to discharge more than I'd like. At least these took a charge right off the bat, unlike another brand that was cheaper I had to return.

Love keeping my old 14.4 Milwaukie drill going. It works better the the newer model I got and is not as heavy or bulky since the batteries are smaller. This is a great battery to keep it going.

This is a follow-up review. At first I gave this product 5 stars (see below). Now I am changing to 1 star, as the battery no longer holds a charge. Used lightly on 5 minor home repairs. Purchased Nov '19 but it fails to hold a charge mid March '20. Sad. My prior review from when I first received the battery is below. (I am a home user, once a month user, not a contractor) Mar 2020 ========================== This battery is a perfect fit for my Makita 3/8" drill. The fit, size, and weight are perfect imo. Charged right up and it has held a charge for a good length of time. Performance wise for a one time charge this is one of the best batteries I've ever had for my Makita of 6 years. Yes I will buy again if this lasts more than a year. (Ad says +500 charge cycles. Hopeful.) Nov 2019
