Effective and high quality at a reasonable price.

I've been taking these for a while, I do see benefits and changes but they are very subtle. Mostly, I feel very nauseous about 15 to 20 minutes after taking one but the nausea doesn't last long. I would same the best benefit is that I do not crave sweets hardly at all when I take this supplement. I feel like it's truly helped my blood sugar.

I began taking Berberine supplements earlier this year after blood tests for fasting glucose showed prediabetes. Besides beginning Berberine supplements I increased my daily exercise significantly and started the Ketogenic Diet -- all in consultation with my primary care physician. For nine months I have limited my intake of sugar and carbohydrates... for example, no soda pop, no pizza, pasta or bread. No fried foods and no restaurant meals or fast food products. No potatoes or rice or other starches. No sugar in coffee or tea. Emphasis on consuming organic eggs and grass -fed beef and organic pork. Organic Greek yogurt and organic cheese. Additional hydration with Electrolyte supplement and artesian/ spring bottled water. Considering these measures my recent fasting blood glucose results were in the "high normal" range. My physician said the combination of all my efforts had been successful but I needed more improvement to get into the normal range. In researching Berberine supplements I read two articles regarding the possible advantages of Dihydroberberine versus the standard Berberine supplements. I have used approximately one-half of the bottle of the Dihydroberberine capsules and I consider it too soon to pass judgment as to which product might be more effective or desirable. However, I will note two observations. First, the Dihydroberberine only requires one capsule daily, and Second, it does seem to curb my appetite. EDIT: Now that I have used this product for a longer period of time I have added another star to the rating. My fasting glucose has improved more as I have continued with the daily Keto diet and exercise. The best aspects of this product are the once a day dose and the noticeable way it curbs my appetite making intermittent fasting easier.
