Say hello to my new obsession! I stayed up until 2 AM reading this book, and that cliffhanger!! I need to start the second book right now! I’ll admit, I struggled a bit through the first 15%, but once I got past that, I was completely hooked. The world-building is intricate and layered, and the character dynamics are absolutely fascinating. The moment the MMC is introduced, everything shifts. He’s magnetic, and the tension between him and the FMC is just chef’s kiss! Speaking of the FMC, Dianna, is everything I love in a main character. She’s strong, fierce, ruthless, and undeniably powerful. But what makes her truly compelling is how her character evolves throughout the story. She’s one of the most complex and well written morally gray protagonists I’ve ever come across. A thousand years ago, Dianna sacrificed her life and humanity to save her sister. In doing so, she became bound to a monster, Kaden, who spared her sister’s life in exchange for Disnna’s freedom. Now, her latest mission is to track down an ancient relic: The Book of Azrael. Most believe it’s nothing more than a myth, but Kaden is convinced it exists. Her search, however, puts her directly in the path of Liam. Liam, better known as Samikel the World Ender, is a god, and his sworn enemies are Dianna’s people. Yet, as they find themselves forced to work together, he begins to realize she isn’t the embodiment of evil he always believed. I loved how the enemies-to-allies-to-lovers dynamic played out in this book! Dianna and Liam are complete opposites, yet they share so many unexpected similarities. And Liam… Liam is everything. He’s strong, yet haunted by the weight of his past, and his internal struggles make him such a compelling character. And don’t even get me started on the slow burn between them!! I need more fantasy books like this one ASAP!

DIANNAAAAA is the Queen we all want to be. And Samkiel the man we want for ourselves. Ok, st least for me 😅 I absolutely devoured this book. The story wasn’t what gripped me, but the characters and their relationships. Mhhhhhh yes please give me more. Great development of their arcs too! Highly recommend this entire series

This applies for all 3 books that are out now. I read them all in one week and got addicted. Heard it will be seven and I can't wait to get my hold on No. 4 ASAP: I went into The Book of Azrael series with some hesitation because of mixed reviews, but I ended up completely hooked. I finished all three in just one week – I couldn’t stop turning the pages. This book has everything: an immersive plot, unforgettable characters, and a heroine who absolutely steals the show. Dianna is even more kick-ass than most fantasy heroines I’ve read – strong, clever, independent, and completely unwilling to be anyone’s damsel in distress. She fights her own battles and commands respect on every page. The male lead is a god/warrior, and utterly devoted, but what I loved most is that he never undermines Dianna’s power. Their bond is intense and layered, making the romance all the more gripping. The supporting cast shines as well – characters you grow to love, villains you love to hate. There are moments of laughter, heartbreak, and brutal, bloody battles that keep you glued to the story. Fair warning: the darker scenes and torture elements are graphic, so be sure to check the trigger warnings. The ending is epic, leaving me both satisfied and desperate for more. I truly hope this isn’t the last we see of Dianna and her world. My ratings: Plot: 5/5 Suspense: 5/5 Characters: 5/5 Spice: 5/5 If you’re looking for a dark fantasy with a heroine who’s as fierce as they come, The Book of Azrael is a must-read.
