Hot chicken stir fried ramen noodle, Carbo 5 pk, 22.9 Ounce

This Ramen is super good. The noodles have a great chewing consistency and the flavor is phenomenal. We go through about a pack a week. The spice level is nice because you could put how much heat you want. Although I still can’t add a full pack of the chili, I’m working up to it.

Let's get one thing out of the way first, if you are an American that is familiar with buying a crate full of ramen packs for a couple of bucks, this stuff will seem pricey... try it anyway. I became aware of the Samyang Spicy Chicken line of noodles by stumbling across a YouTube series called "the Try Guys." After trying a variety of flavors including the 2X extra spicy variety, this one just edges out the curry flavor pack as my favorite variety. The one niggle I have with this product is the translation of cooking instructions. After you boil the noodles for five minutes you drain and leave "eight spoons" of water... searching online to see whether that is supposed to mean eight tablespoons or eight teaspoons, the answer is ???? Just by trial and error, eight tablespoons makes a broth not a sauce (I think it's meant to be noodles with sauce) and spicy for most people, but not a "challenging" spicy. Using less water, kicks up the heat exponentially, to a point of pain to most except those seeking ultra spicy food. I equate having a one to one mix of water to the red/black spicy goo pack makes for a meal of noodles, sauce, and added veggies about the level of maybe eating habenero straight. The surprising part is the "creamy" carbonara addition with this flavor, just a hint of cheese and creamy is a nice flavor note to go with the aggressive pepper heat.

These are different from regular maruchan noodles so keep that in mind when buying. Each pack has the thick noodles, chili sauce packet and cheese packet. If you're on the fence about spicy food, I'd recommend trying a fourth of the chili sauce pack, taste, and add more to your liking. I enjoy spicy food so I put in the entire pack, but there are days I'm not in the mood to have something as spicy, so I'll add half the pack. The noodles are really springy and chewy, very good. The overall flavor of the prepared noodles is very taste. I don't really get a cheese taste from these but the taste is very pleasant and, of course spicy. They are also quite saucey so I started having them with something like shrimp or gyoza so I dont waste any of the delicious sauce mixture. I've only had one other of the samyang noodles before and this one is still my favorite!

these taste sooo good! I love how u can add how spicy you want it too, im not that big of a spicy girl so the packet helped out a lot, for how much it costs id say its a steal! its worth every penny and tastes so so good and creamy and the noodles are so yummmm I buy these so much and getting a pack helped a lot!

Great taste and like the spicy level of it. Also like the fact the spicy sauce and flavor power are in two different packs. This allows to adjust the spicy level as needed. Only reason for the 4 star is the shipping. These shipped not in a box but a mailing envelope. After being shoved inside the mailbox you could imagine how the noodles looked after. If these were shipped inside a box it would have been 5 stars.

LOVE this Raman. Tip: If you REALLY like spicey things use the whole packet of the red oil. If not, start with just a FEW DROPS then add them as you can tolerate. I like mild hot sauce on things, so for me I use about 1/3 of the packet of the red oil. If you use it all the very first time you might ruin it because it won't be edible if you can't tolerate very very hot spicyness!

Ich liebe diese Ramen sehr und habe sie eine Zeit lang mindestens 1x die Woche gegessen. Sie sind super schnell zubereitet und können super nach Belieben verfeinert werden. Ich gebe gerne noch Topokki und geriebenen Gouda hinzu und garniere sie zum Schluss mit Frühlingszwiebeln, Sesam und einem Ei. Die Ramen werden so super cremig und lecker. Mit der scharfen Sauce muss man aufpassen, sie ist wirklich SEHR scharf. Dieses 5er Pack ist super praktisch.
