Dove Derma Scalp Density Boost 3-in-1 Scalp Serum 1 ct With Prebiotic Glycerin, Zinc + Peptides, and Niacinamide For Breakage And Hair Thinning 2 oz

I want to start by saying that the order arrived well packaged. The bottle is made of great quality glass. The dropper works perfect. I love that this serum is water based, which applies super easy and light on your scalp. Overall, the bottle looks pretty and luxurious in my opinion. STORY: About a month ago, I made the decision to take care of the health of my hydrolipidic mantle primarily, and the health of my hair. I have suffered from oily hair, dry- itchy - sensitive scalp and dandruff my whole life and I have used a lot of different products to get rid of the dandruff and nothing seemed to work. I wasn't washing my hair regularly... to be honest, I wasn't taking care of my hair or scalp at all. I didn't even know you had to... I thought washing and drying it was all I had to do but , I was wrong! My hydrolipidic mantle got to a point where it began to form hard buildup, it was red, very dry, very flaky and itchy (I would wake up with dirt and residue under my nails every morning! That's how bad my situation was.) ; My hair used to get oily a day after washing it and I had to shampoo it twice to "get it clean"! On top of all that, my mantle never looked clean , hydrated or healthy. AND, it made my hair fall out like crazy; I thought I was sick or something. I knew I had to do things differently for my condition to change, so, I decided to THOROUGHLY research about seborrheic dermatitis (what I was suffering from) and dandruff and I found that most of hair products out there contain common hair oils like (coconut, olive, avocado and jojoba oils, etc) which actually feeds the fungus that causes seborrheic dermatitis and dandruff... WHAT! Yes, my friend, do your research. So, I started looking for hair products that didn't contain any of those oils (I literally spent hours and days looking at a lot of shampoo and scalp treatments' ingredient lists lol) and I found this great scalp serum. I was happy to see on the ingredients that they didn't use oils and decided to give it a try. And OMG. It was the best decision! I have been using this serum judiciously for about a month now (8-9 times) following the instructions and my hydrolipidic mantle has made significant changes! It stopped being red/ sensitive by the second use (although I felt relieve instantly after applying it for the first time), it's not itchy like it was, no visible dandruff by the second use, it didn't leave my hair dry, it also does not make my hair oily (I can now go 3 days without washing my hair without it getting dirty or super oily). The serum does leave a thin film on my hair after it drys (I personally apply 3 full droppers after washing my hair) but it goes away if you pass your fingers through your hair and if you dry your hair with a hair dryer like in my case. This serum smells amazing. The cool/ fresh sensation I get every time I apply this serum is a true experience... very pleasant! My mantle now looks and feels clean, hydrated, fresh and healthy. I do have noticed much more density/ fullness in my hair, and a GREAT relief and improvement in the dryness and sensitivity of my scalp. AND I'm having new growth as well!!! I hope they don't discontinue this serum EVER. This is a must have for my hair and scalp routine from now on! TIP: I use a silicone scalp massager to massage the serum on my scalp instead of using my fingers and it makes a huge difference. I totally recommend getting one.

I absolutely love this and has been the only thing to provide relief with winter induced dry itchy scalp. Even rosemary oil don't cut it. Leaves my scalp feeling great. I even went up to 5 days without wash as it kept my scalp moisturized. I apply on damp clean hair and gently massage it it with a scalp massager. I have not had to reapply in between washes either. I saw results after 1 use. I absolutely love it and recommend. I dont care for the "boost" but it does provide some volume for those who are interested.

I like this. I have hereditary thinning hair. This gives my a plumping boost that tis needed. I grew up in the 80's, thus fluffy hair with Aquanet is in my past (Is it safe to admit this?) LOL. Yes, its hard to give up full hair. I am not sure exactly what it does-but it does seem to add "density" .

I have only used this oil treatment a few times so I can’t comment about hair growth yet. It does help with the softness and shine of my hair. It does leave a slight stickiness on my hands after massaging in to my scalp. My biggest complaint is it arrived leaking and now the push button for the dropper gets stuck and the dropper itself is falling out. I’m going to have to either buy another bottle to put it in or just pour a little in my hands and work it in! So the dropper is poorly designed!! A

10/10 - I love this product so much. Milky texture and smell is so good, lasts all day. Good quality and feels nice on hair. Only greasy if you put a lot of product on top of your hair. Easy to apply and is a really cute bottle.

I've had trouble with a dry itchy scalp for awhile now. Oils have been making it worse too. So I decided to try a serum and this came through for me. My scalp loves this stuff lol. It feels so good on my scalp, it doesn't irritate it at all. It's lightweight and leaves my scalp feeling refreshed and moisturized. There's no stickiness whatsoever. I recommend for itchy scalps that doesn't like oils!
