Superglue for metal and stainless steel 25g - for instant strength, waterproof, heat-resistant, clear glue with precise nozzle

After losing a lace hook on a pair of shoes, I couldn't find anyone who would fix it - not even the big names who specialise in shoe repair. I bought some replacement hooks and this glue and was a bit apprehensive as I've never used cyanoacrylate before. The glue itself is thin like water and there are no instructions so I hoped for the best and put one drop on the shoe and then placed the hook on top. Within seconds it was held fast, the bond seems to be created instantly. I did notice that the metal hook heated up and was quite hot to the touch, which is apparently how the bond creation works so be careful if you're like me and not expecting it! It fixed my shoes instantly with no fuss or mess, brilliant product.

It does the job however it is very watery which makes it a little hard to use around things you don’t want it on. Try not to get any on you aswell as it’s a nightmare to get off and on thin skin it will burn a little.

Good glue,works very well,used to repair a silver ring,which could not be soldered,due to location of stone setting.

Good glue to stick metal and plastic together but the protective cap with the metal nozzle pin can get stuck to the screw thread below due to dribbles; this can result in the whole cap coming off by accident and spilling the contents, which is what happened to me.

Als Sekundenkleber würde ich den Klebstoff nicht bezeichnen. In der Zeit klebt er bestenfalls an den Fingern. Der Klebstoff ist sehr flüssig und verläuft somit sehr gut., und das viele Sekunden lang. (Was ein Sekundenkleber eigentlich nicht sollte.) Ich habe etwas geklebt, mit einem Amazon-Couvert als Unterlage, und darauf ist ein Tropfen der Flüssigkeit gelandet. Der war nach 10 Minuten noch Flüssig. Dann wollte ich 4 Abstandsgummis unter eine Platine kleben, und die Gummis sind nach Minuten noch verrutscht, und haben ewig an den Fingern statt auf der Platine geklebt. Mit dem Scharnier meiner Brille gab es keine Probleme. Wenn der Kleber aber erst einmal klebt, dann richtig! Bombenfest! Der Kleber hat seine Vor- und Nachteile. Mir gefällt, dass er nicht sofort klebt und gut verläuft. Wenn man die Werkstücke ordentlich platzieren kann, und nicht mit den Fingern festhalten muss, ist er top.

Absolutely works as described, bonds within 30-40 seconds, however it does need 24. Hours to cure. If you don’t need whatever it is right away that shouldn’t be a problem. After that you have very solid repair. Do your self a favor and make sure to wear latex gloves or some other type of protective gloves especially if your repairing a small object, you will have to hold it in place until it bonds.

Pour le moment ça tient .. j ai collé une pièce de métal sur un ancien disque de frein de voiture en acier pour faire un pied de lampe JLD à 3 bras , lampe plutôt lourde, je ne voulais pas souder . Colle qui a l air de tenir. Je verrais bien dans le temps mais ça m'a l air solide. J ai plutôt confiance. une semaine plus tard , ça tient super bien :-) cette colle est juste incroyable .

Tuve que hacer una reparación uniendo dos piezas de hierro. La primera vez se despegó, pero en el segundo intento apliqué más cantidad y quedó perfectamente soldado. Desde entonces, no he tenido ningún otro problema.

Ho provato questa colla per incollare il perno del pedale della cyclette alla staffa metallica il cui foro si era in parte spanato. Il perno è stato avvitato soltanto per metà lunghezza (0,5 mm) poiché non si avvisava completamente. Ho applicato la colla sul perno, nel foro e poi tutta intorno alla giuntura, da una parte e dall'altra. Ho atteso 48 ore. Ora la sto utilizzando da un settimana e sembra reggere bene. Spero continui così.
