I bought regular Mr Greens and love them. They are so sharp and easy to use. But the don't open enough to get my toenails. These can do my toenails and are super sharp. They are also harder to use. So only great for the nails that are too fat and too curved for the regular Mr Greens. As they are not great for fingernails, I wish the blades on these were straighter/flatter. They are a bit too curved for toenails and as they are harder to use than regular Mr Greens, they aren't useful for fingernails.

These clippers are made in a commonly made style. I used that style for many years, until they fell apart! However, mine were dull and so small and slippery that with aging, I had trouble holding onto them. 😟 However, Mr Green Nail Clippers are very well made of a very good steel and the cutting surfaces are extremely sharp. (Seriously, be very careful or you’ll cut something you didn’t plan to cut! 😢) However, the unique hole in the handle meant I never had a problem with them slipping in my hand. 😁 My only issue with them is the length of the blades. The handles are much longer, too; I actually wanted a set with longer handles, but I didn’t expect the blades to be so much larger. For now, I will continue to try using them; hopefully I will adjust to their size. 🙃 (Note: they aren’t large enough for my toenails.) I still think they were worth the price I paid, and recommend this company’s clippers. However, be aware that these clippers, while extremely well made, are made larger proportionately. Pay close attention to ALL dimensions given. It is likely that this company makes this type of clippers in other sizes, although, I didn’t notice any others on Amazon. *****/5 Booklover

Finally, a nail clipper that can handle my evolving mani-pedi issues. Things aren't quite as cute and petite at 61 as they are at 16. It has super sharp blades, wide blade spacing, and a snazzy container. It's the sleek Mack Daddy of clippers! I highly recommend this product.

Very sharp nail clippers ideal for trimming thick toenails.

The clipper had very good reviews, but I knew right away that it was not for me when it arrived. It has a small piece of metal that flips down to allow theclippers to take up less space with travel and then you flip the metal back into place to use the clippers. The hinge on the piece of metal is so loose that it flips back-and-forth on its own and must be constantly flipped back to use the clippers. This makes it a pain to use. Also, the clippers do open very wide, which is great if you have thick toenails, but can make it dangerous because it allows it to go derped risking clipping the quick easily. You have to be very careful with these clippers. I decided to go with a more traditional design that is more user-friendly and safer.
