Are these stockings closed toes or open? The description says closed but picture shows open toes!

The stocking is sold as closed toes, sorry for the image problem, we shall ask amazon to rectify it

Do these have silicone top band?

Just looked st the label in the top and no mention of silicon just elastase and polyamide

Can[t get my head around the sizing-I'm 5ft.3ins tall and have 34cm calf-skinny legs) -should I go for Small size?

Your calf measurement would suggest M size. I now possess these in 3 sizes and can actually wear them all as there is some stretch at least in the length. I am really pleased with these as my brand originally prescribed by GP I could not get on. I now have these on prescription. Happy days!

Thigh 19-23", knee 17", calf 16", ankle 11", inside leg 31". which size do i need?
