I LOVE this product. All pure MCT C8 oil which is super ketogenic in that it produces 3x the ketones of C10 MCT oil. I like to blend it in with my coffee which better helps it get to the brain and it's a nice burst of clean mental energy. Be careful with the amount you initially use though because of the MCT oils, it is the one most likely to cause "disaster pants" if your digestive system isn't used to it, so maybe ease into a full tbsp. Also being that it is tasteless, you could also mix it in which some foods to get it in. Overall, this is a fantastic, high quality, greatly ketogenic MCT oil (that comes with a pourer) and I HIGHLY recommend it! 👍

I’ve been keto on and off long before it was ever a “thing”- about 13 years now. In the past, there was pretty much one choice for C8 oil...and for some reason, that brand gave me gastric distress unless I used it in incredibly small increments throughout the day. Keto turning into a trend has introduced some terrible products from some fly by night companies looking to capitalize on the popularity...and some great new products from companies like LevelUp. This is one of the newcomers that made me super excited: this is hands-down the BEST C8 I’ve used. I don’t understand how, but it gives me ZERO GI distress, even when used in large amounts. No pain, no nausea, no bloating. I mean nothing. The price seems steep compared to other MCT’s...but you need to keep in mind that this oil is comprised purely of caprylic acid (c8), with the other fatty acids, capric (c10) and lauric (c12), removed. If you’re new to this and you don’t know why this is important, studies have shown that C8 increases plasma ketone response, reduces blood glucose levels, has improved GI tolerability, possesses antimicrobial properties, so on and so forth...and it does this much more effectively than the other fatty acids that comprise most run of the mill MCT oils. Do some googling. The research, while limited, is strong enough that I’ve started to ingest small amounts of c8 with any carb intake (like my vegetables) as sort of a “glucose safety net”. Just watch your calories if you’re doing this diet for weight loss purposes. Other great things to be said: Completely odorless and tasteless, blends seamlessly and smoothly into anything I put it in, reduced hunger, raises ketone levels on a blood stick, the palm oil used is certified sustainable, and the price per serving (while steep) is equivalent to or usually lower than any other comparable c8 on the market. It’s become a staple for me. Just try it. You won’t be disappointed.

One of the main reasons you should use this product is because it contains super high quality MCT's (medium chain triglycerides) that are easily broken down by your body and almost instantly converted to energy; trust me, you will feel the difference! If you are someone who likes to make bulletproof coffee, this is the product for you! It has a little to no taste, it has a very clean feel when consumed, and it will give you the burst of energy most people use MCT oils for. The Bulletproof Brain Octane Oil is beneficial to use when making bulletproof coffee because it also fights cravings and keeps you feeling satisfied. Since a ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting go hand in hand for many people, this is a product that will help you from fighting with hunger during the fasting period. I use it every morning in my bulletproof coffee because it will boost your ketone levels while keeping you in a fasted state since it is purely fat! The Bulletproof Brain Octane Oil can also be used for cooking. However, it is recommended that you only cook with low temperatures when using Brain Octane Oil which could be a slight negative, though I would not see why anyone would need to be cooking with high temperatures with MCT oil. A huge positive about cooking with the Brain Octane Oil is that there is no taste, so it will not change the taste of the food you love! Since there is no taste, another positive note is that the Brain Octane Oil can be added to your foods to incorporate more fat into your diet without changing the taste. You can add it to salads, mix it in smoothies, or simply pour it over any food you like. It is a great way to keep your body running smoothly in a ketogenic or fasted state! The Brain Octane Oil is very convenient because you only need a tablespoon to get an extra 14 grams of high quality fat into your diet. The one reale negative I would note about the product is that it can be a little bit messy because it is hard to clean up and leaves an oily residue if it is spilled. However, this seems to be more of a bottle design negative than the actual MCT oil itself. I have found that poking a small hole in the top of the safety seal is a good way to keep the oil from spilling or leaking out of the bottle when you are pouring it. This is an easy fix that makes the product close to perfection, in my opinion. Overall, I would highly recommend this product if you are looking to get a good boost of energy, a clean feel, high quality MCT's, and keeping yourself in ketosis and feeling sharp!

This is the only mct c8 I will buy. I highly suggest you buy it in the brown glass bottle. I purchased the 16 ounce because the bottle is easy to handle. With the subscribe and save discount and coupon it was very reasonable. I also purchased the thirty two ounce bottle for refilling the 16 oz bottle. Both bottles come with an insertable pour spout that is very convenient for dosing into your coffee or wherever you're using it. The 32 oz bottle is really the better value but it's too heavy for me to use every day. So I bought both. I have used it in the past and it really does help my energy levels. At 73 I need all the help I can get. Very happy I was able to get such a quality product at a reasonable price.

Get it, get it, get it!! you won't regret it! I've tried several MCT oils, I've done my research and I felt compelled to come here and post a review. this MCT oil does what it promises. While no supplement will ever be an overnight miracle I can tell you that if you start eating a healthy diet, reduce your sugars and starches (flour, pasta, breads, cookies, etc. lol) I didn't say stop eating them, just not every single day! This supplement will help you: lose/manage your weight, increase your energy, reduce your appetite, REGULATE YOUR BOWEL MOVEMENTS (I know gross! but we all need to go #2!) BUT IT WONT MAKE YOU RUN TO THE BATHROOM like a pooping pill. This will create a gentle movement every day.. I promise! and most importantly (for me) the energy you'll get throughout the day WILL KEEP YOU MOVING! It has no flavor, just mix it with a little bit of hot/cold coffee/tea and chug it! best way to drink this is all at once! (like a shot). I'm a normal person just like you that tried this and LOVED it! You'll find other brands out there, I've tried many and they did nothing. this one is the bomb!
