Anyone thinking about purchasing a security camera should read this first. I am writing this review regarding Ctronics Security Camera products and support, but mainly regarding their support. After trying several manufacturers cameras I eventually can across a manufacture called Ctronics. After reading the spec of their camera I eventually settled on Ctronics which I purchased 5 years ago from Amazon. This turned out to be a good camera, not its quality but there support. All makes of security cameras seem to have problems from time to time. Trying to get help/support from the manufacturers is awful. However, if a fault occurred, I send an email to the Ctronics. I receive an email back the next day, by a lady called Sophie. She asked for the details of the camera and the fault. She said she would email me back. This is their usual procedure. The following morning there was the email with the information to correct the fault, which worked and cleared the fault. The camera is still working today. Based on their support, 2 years ago I purchased another 2 Ctronics cameras from Amazon they arrived the next day. There was no problem setting them up. Several of my friends and neighbours were having trouble at their properties. They contacted me for advice. I explained about the camera and to purchase it from Amazon. I offered to set the cameras up so they just had to install it. There were quite a few of them did the same. Support. All security cameras have problems from time to time. Usually switching it off for a few minutes and back on most times puts it right. Unfortunately, one of the two cameras stopped working the other day. I carried out all the usual checks but to no avail. Sent an email to Ctronics. Giving her the, details of the camera plus, the nature of the fault. The next day I had a reply from their support personal Sophie. She sent some details to try. But that did not help however; the camera would not start up, which was very unusual. She then asked me to send a copy of the invoice off Amazon. I pointed out that the camera, which was now 23 months old and out of warrantee after it had been checked. The next day there was another email off Sophie on my computer, apologising for the problem with the camera. Although the camera was out of warrantee, Sophie said she would send me a new one free of charge. It arrived 3 days later. I’m not saying they would do this every time. As they are usually able to sort the problems using emails. I would give Amazon for stocking Ctronics and Ctronics for their quality and excellent support, 6 Stars if I could. Griff West Midlands

This unit is placed outside of the house to protect the car which is parked on street. Its been installed for the past few months and there are absolutely no issues with it despite being subjected to sun and also heavy rain. Placed in a memory card and updated some of its settings and its been working perfectly. You can select what causes the camera to trigger i.e only trigger when there's people and/or any movement - we've set it to trigger only when there's people around. I've never had an issue connecting to the device to view using my iPhone. Its quick to connect and works seamlessly. Small downside is that it is wired but the wire is quite unobtrusive and can be hidden easily. It is quite a large unit and very well made. The quality of the picture is amazing and very clear. The zoom works well too - but not something that I use often. I use the black and white night vision, but it has a colour option too when using the LED's.

Previously bought 2 of an earlier model both mounted externally open to some quite servere north western England coastal weather these lasted for 6 years and were only replaced due to the failure of the network card, (the cameras still worked physically and optically but no replacement cards are available. New model purchased and fitted unfortunately one of the cameras developed a fault after 6 months I contacted Ctronics service department who replied within 48 hours logged onto the camera and agreed it was not able to be fixed (horizontal tracking had failed) I was contacted by Candy Jiang and a replacement camera would be forwarded to me, this arrived within 10 days I was then contacted by Candy again to make sure the new camera was functioning correctly and I was happy with it. All in all despite the fault the after sales service from the staff of Ctronics was excellent and special thanks to Candy for her diligence. Roy Walsh UK

Have tried several cameras over past year. I am using a cheap and cheerful one (£35) that works great and does its job, I have another which is good enough for where it and it purpose (£80). Needed another and purchased this one for £75. I like this one. Set up linking to wifi can be a pickle but stick with it as I was making errors in which my daughter corrected me. This is excellent for this kind of money. Excellent quality immiges and great zoom. However, if zooming in at distance is what you may need, then you must get a camera with "Optical Zoom" and not digital zoom. There is a big difference and of course it will cost a lot more also. This is very easy to navigate around and I bought a wifi booster to ensure I get good wifi coverage for where camera is positioned. Can recommend this and you can't go wrong for the money.. Superb camera at a good price backed up with brilliant after sales service. Great picture quality and very easy to use mobile app. I have five of these cameras and one of them went wrong (would not turn left to right). I contacted support and Eric answered my query within 24 hours. After trying to rectify the issue remotely and not being able to, a new camera was despatched within three days of my initial query. The camera arrived three days later. I really cannot fault the service I got - after all things do go wrong and it is how the issues are delat with that is important. Big shout out to Eric who was very responsive and helpful throughout.

Its ok i suppose for the price, however i find the motion sensor far too sensitive even on low setting of 5 i am getting loads of false alarms. Sending mine back and going for a higher spec as this will crack me up.

Excellent product, this is our second camera original unit still works fine.

very simple its not fit for purpose .works with cable but with wifi even im right next to the router no joy then stop responding to controls even with connected by cable

J’utilise la caméra de surveillance CTRONICS 4K 8MP WiFi depuis quelques semaines, et je suis vraiment impressionné par ses performances. La qualité d’image en 4K est exceptionnelle, avec des détails nets de jour comme de nuit grâce à la vision nocturne. Le mode suiveur automatique est un vrai plus : la caméra suit les mouvements de manière fluide et précise, ce qui permet de ne rien manquer. La configuration via l’application est simple, même pour les non-initiés, et la connexion WiFi est stable. Autre point positif : les alertes en temps réel fonctionnent très bien, et l’audio bidirectionnel est clair. C’est rassurant de pouvoir surveiller et interagir à distance. Seul petit bémol : l’antenne WiFi pourrait être légèrement plus performante si votre routeur est éloigné. Mais avec un répéteur, tout fonctionne parfaitement. En résumé, un excellent rapport qualité-prix pour une caméra de surveillance fiable et efficace. Je recommande ! Merci à Eric du service client et SAV pour l’aide lors de l’installation

Top qualité, j’en suis trop content

I have an older Ctronics 2k camera and it's given me ZERO problems for 3 years. Got this new one, 4k 8MP. Picture quality is superb. These cameras are extremely simple to setup either with their own app, or even other IPCamera apps. Connected no problem. I use the "IPCamera" program on my PC to view 3 ip cameras, and this one looks GREAT! Sound quality is good, motion detection works fine. Put a 64GB SD card in it, records 24/7. Night vision is superb. I use it with a 4k monitor and when I zoom into stuff, the result is CRISP and CLEAR.

Super Kameras von Material und Ausstattung! Hervorragender, einmaliger Support! Normalerweise halte ich mich bei „Bewertungen“ zurück. Hier allerdings möchte hier ich meine Erfahrungen mitteilen, da das hier m.E. besonders war: Bereits schon im Januar kaufte ich über Amazon 2 Kameras von Ctronic, nachdem ich wochenlang Werbung, Rezessionen, Tests usw. gelesen hatte. Mir war wichtig, dass die Kameras kein „billiges Glump“ sind, und evtl. auch einem „Angriff“ aushalten. Zudem wollte ich, dass die Bilder/Filme nicht nur auf der SD-Karte abgespeichert werden, sondern auch z.B. auf meinem FTP-Speicher des Routers. Die Kameras 530D u. 590D wurden sehr schnell in einer hochwertigen Verpackung geliefert. Auch die Kameras selbst machen einen hochwertigen, stabilen Eindruck! Dann verging die Zeit und ich kam nicht dazu, die Kameras anzuschließen, da ich die Stromkabel unter Dach verlegen musste…. Ein erster „Test“ mit „schneller Verbindung“ erfolgte zwar, aber die Kameras wurden nicht vollends geprüft. Als dann der finale Anschluss im Oktober, mit leichten Schwierigkeiten beim Eintrag des richtigen WLAN-Schlüssels erfolgte, war ich frustriert: Die 590D bewegte sich nur horizontal und leider nicht vertikal. Die 530D funktionierte einwandfrei – trennte sich allerding in unregelmäßigen Abständen von der Verbindung und war dann offline/außer Funktion. SCHOCK! Da über Amazon nach dieser Zeit keine Möglichkeiten mehr bestehen, wandte ich mich mit einer Email (in Deutsch und engl. Google-Übersetzung) an den Support von Ctronic. Meine Erwartungen an diesem Sonntagabend waren sehr gering und ich dachte, dass sich wenn überhaupt - vielleicht erst irgendwann in der folgenden Woche jemand melden würde. Bei weitem gefehlt! Montagfrüh um 05.00 Uhr war bereits eine überaus freundliche, ansprechende und kompetente Antwort von Herrn Eric Xiao, Ctronic Support vorhanden! Nach Mitteilung der UID Anschlusskennung der Kameras wurden diese vom Support „aus der Ferne“ von einem Techniker geprüft, bzw. richtig von Herrn Xiao eingestellt. Die 530D läuft seither tipp-topp ohne Aussetzer mit hervorragenden Aufzeichnungen! Bei der 590D lag ein Defekt vor. Der Support schickte sofort eine neue Kamera los, die bereits schon nach 5 Tagen ankam! Diese funktioniert jetzt ohne Probleme. Die defekte Kamera muss ich nicht zurücksenden – wobei diese grundsätzlich funktioniert, kann halt nur nicht schwenken. Die Aufzeichnungen der beiden Kameras sind topp! Genauso hatte ich es mir vorgestellt. Sie werden auf der SD-Karte und in meinem Netzwerk gespeichert. Die Dateien sind auch nicht so groß. Dadurch, dass die Empfindlichkeit eingestellt werden kann insbesondere ein sog. „Verknüpfungsalarm“ erfolgt nur eine „Alarmierung“ /Nachricht, wenn eine Bewegung und eine „humanoides“ (menschliches) Objekt „erkannt“ wird. Das ist genial da dadurch keine/kaum Fehlalarme vorkommen! Schwierigkeiten waren zunächst die “Einstellungen“. Da die Anleitungen der Ctronic-Anwendung auf dem Handy, bzw. der HiP2P Anwendung für den PC nicht so perfekt sind. Hier spielt wohl auch die Übersetzung eine Rolle. Allerdings nun, durch die Hinweise von Herrn Xiao und durch das Probieren mit der Zeit ist das alles kein Problem mehr! Zudem sind durch die vielfältigen Möglichkeiten, die die Kameras in den Einstellungen usw. auch einiges möglich. Zunächst waren die auf dem FTP-server gesicherten „.265-Dateien“ nicht lesbar. Auch durch denn von mir verwendeten VLC-Mediaplayer nicht. Herr Xiao teilte mir jedoch hierzu mit, das ein entsprechender Player und Converter auf der Homepage von Ctronic downzuloaden ist. Zwischenzeitlich hatte ich mir jedoch ein Codec-Update heruntergeladen, sodass mit der MS Mediaplayer die .265-Dateien ohne Konvertierung wiedergibt. Ich kann hier die von mir gekauften Kameras mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen – wenn diese zunächst auch nicht gleich perfekt liefen. Vielleicht lag es aber auch an mir, z.B. durch das Einlegen der SD-Karte, etc. Das Beste war aber der Support! Hier Herr Eric Xiao! Ich hoffe, dass Ctronic bewusst ist, dass sie hier einen äußerst schnellen, kompetenten Mitarbeiter haben, der die Firma positiv vorbildlich und unkompliziert vertritt! So soll es sein, so wünscht man es sich – und genauso war es! Vielen Dank!

Ho recentemente acquistato la telecamera e sono rimasto estremamente soddisfatto dell'esperienza complessiva. Questo dispositivo ha superato tutte le mie aspettative e mi sento felice di condividere la mia esperienza positiva. Innanzitutto, la funzionalità a 355°/90° Rilevamento Umano/Veicoli Auto-Tracking - Visione Notturna a Colori Audio Bidirezionale di questa telecamera è assolutamente incredibile. Copre un'area vastissima senza lasciare angoli ciechi, garantendo una sorveglianza completa e affidabile. Posso monitorare con facilità ogni angolo, sia di giorno che di notte, grazie alla sua visione notturna a LED di alta qualità. La risoluzione video è nitida e chiara. Ma ciò che ha reso davvero eccezionale la mia esperienza è stata l'assistenza clienti. Ho avuto un piccolo problema tecnico sul WiFi. Ho contattato il servizio clienti e sono rimasto colpito dalla loro disponibilità e professionalità. Il team di supporto ha risposto prontamente alle mie domande e hanno risolto il mio problema in breve tempo, fornendomi una nuova telecamera. Ho apprezzato davvero l'approccio paziente e cortese che hanno avuto nei miei confronti. In sintesi, è un dispositivo eccezionale rapporto qualità/prezzo che offre una sorveglianza completa e affidabile. Tuttavia, ciò che davvero fa la differenza è l'assistenza clienti straordinaria. Il loro impegno nel garantire la mia soddisfazione è stato evidente fin dall'inizio e mi ha dato una grande fiducia nell'utilizzo del prodotto. Consiglio vivamente questa telecamera a chiunque cerchi un dispositivo di sorveglianza di alta qualità senza spendere tantissimo con un supporto clienti senza pari.
