The machining is perfect, as your pi slots right in place with the screws provided. All aspects of the pi are accessible as necessary.Fitting the fan is quick and very easy given the instructions.At first I wanted to leave the top off the case so I could see the fan from above, as the lid appeared opaque at first glance.
