I installed these at the very top of my mirrored sliding closet doors to keep my cat from sneaking inside. I had bought a different brand before and the little locking arm kept falling flat, which let my cat get right in. This time I installed these upside down so that if the arm does fall down, it actually locks the doors instead of leaving them open. That worked perfectly. These stick really well. Just clean the surface first. Even when I forget the lock is on and try to muscle the door open, it has never popped off. The adhesive is strong and the lock stays put. Our closet doors have a pretty big gap between them and this lock still barely catches the front door, but it catches enough to keep it secure. You do have to remember to flip the little arm back up after closing the closet, and to flip it up again before you try to open it, or you will slam into it. Even with me doing that by accident, it has held strong. For cats, this is a perfect deterrent. I put mine at the very top so she can’t reach it. I do not know about toddlers because they have more force, but based on how often I forget it is locked and try to yank the door open, I doubt a kid would break it off if it is placed high enough. TLDR: Strong adhesive, easy install, and keeps pets out of closets. Just remember to flip the lock arm or you will run into it. Works even on sliding doors with a large gap.

These work great on sliding glass doors. Give yourself the added protection against burglars. Easy to apply, just peel and stick.

Good locks on sliding glass patio doors. I feel safer in my home with these locks. I have two of them. They work great.

It’s doing its job perfectly. However, two pieces of plastic shouldn’t cost ~8 dollars; losing one star there.

ok was a skeptic BUT its the real deal. This 3M adhesive is no joke. Exceeded my expectations. Be mindful to clean the glass, (the item has a bit of thickness) make sure it will not prohibit the door from sliding when not in use. Easy to use flip it up and flip it down that easy. Dont place it too high on the top (like i did) this causes me to pry it down because i did not leave enough room from the top to easily access otherwise a great quick fix for toddler safety and allowing the fur babies to run in and out without having the door open more than it has to. For adult safety gives an extra layer of protection if someone is trying to enter because this thing does NOT budge. Love it and 2 for the price a definite winner! Think i will place one on the bottom and provide another level of access

Our sliding door fails to lock occasionally, this gives me peace of mind. Be careful where you place it/test the area before sticking to make sure its not too close to the other door... its a very strong adhesive and its not coming off anytime soon.

These did not work! Not only did they not stick to the glass, the lock fell of and became lodged at the base of the door. The door will not shut. We had to take the door off in order to remove the lock

Good option for the patio. Wouldn’t use it on my window, it’s too wide. Difficult to remove once it’s glued.

Very strong glue. We use it on our sliding closet doors, and it’s been effective at keeping our cat out of the closet.

Did not work for me , broke off and wedge between the 2 panels of glass

Love these. I have one on my patio door and one in my daughter bedroom window, works like a charm.

Not good. I had them installed for 2 days and I could barely take them off, which shows that is strong M3 adhesive but the product itself is too thick and damages the brushes and silicon around the door. Every time when I open and close the door, I would get a sound from hitting the closing door. Closing and opening wasn’t smooth at all. Lots of power involved. Even when they are open, a child could barely open the door because would get hooked on the item. How I review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ = Love, Love, Love this product! Way over expectations.
