I replaced mine at the pharmacy. Just bring your crutches to get the right size.

What is a "beef tendon base"?

The little caps on the base of the crutches are made out of dried beef tendon.

Support 300 pound person?

Hi, the company response to someone asking if will support 250lb person they said yes. When asked about 400lb they said no. So your question falls between the two. I find them sturdy and so much better than a cane. If you don’t need to support full weight, I think these would work.
