I bought these because they looked nice and stacked in our higher cabinets. Well worth it - I actually threw out the racks both times I bought them and recommend to the seller that they offer without the rack, since it's not always necessary. If you keep your mugs outside of your shelves, then the rack comes in handy. One managed to chip a little already but overall holding strong in our clumsy household, so overall I think they're a great value.
