This is really good for colouring cement for repairing bricks without detriment. TB

This is a cement colouring powder to add to a dry mix of mortar or concrete, it is strong in colour so only requires a small amount to be added to the dry mix, the down side is until the water is added the exact colour of the mix cannot be judged. Accurate measuring of the amount of powder added needs to be taken down to the gram in weight otherwise different shades of the same colour will be apparent with each mix, extra powder cannot be added once the mix is wet. A tub of this powder will go a long way however care in use needs to be taken due to it's strength of colouring.

As others have said, it is really tricky to get a good consistent colour across batches. You will need to apply a scientific approach to this. You can’t really see the colour until it has dried off and by that time it’s a bit late if you get it wrong. My “buff” mix was an orangy shade of yellow which now sticks out like a sore thumb in the pointing that I have done. Looks like I am going for the paint I used before to blend it in.

I found that the product does turn the brick black but only after a few coats, but the end result is very good, my only one criticism is that when it arrived the lid had become loose and quite a bit of the powder was spilt into the box.

Perfect cement based colour. It's so easy to use if the instructions are followed. My gable edge tiffins have started to dislodge. I've coloured the replacement mortar to match roof tiles, looks great.
