Amazingly FRESH Taste!!!
Amazing FRESH Taste!!! Brunswick Wild Caught Gourmet Brisling Sardines in Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Mediterranean Style with Black Olives, Herbs and Spices, 4.23 oz Can was a refreshing surprise!!! Accustomed to truly liking one brand of Sardines, I decided to try something new and overjoyed I did! They arrive with a clear plastic seal that is revealed when the overlaying cardboard wrapper is removed. This enables one to view just how fresh the fish is and see precisely what you’re getting. While this has many benefits, I do prefer the peel back tin, as a plastic wrapper becoming pierced, during handling or shipping, could occur. So, the peel-back tin feels safer. This and the round container are the only minor drawbacks— had I used a spoon, instead of a fork, there may have been less drainage. Scooping out the last contents and oil took a bit more work, but, unlike the other brand, I licked the can clean, like a cat! These sardines are fresh, perfectly tender and absolutely delicious! Love them!! Would I suggest purchasing them?? Most definitely yes! The balance of tastes, olive oil, black olives, herbs and brisling sardines is wonderful. Buy it. Eat them. Enjoy them!!

Great flavor!
Best sardines I’ve had! Very mild flavor, love the olive oil/herbs, didn’t feel 1 bone.

Pretty Tasty
Tastes good for “tinned” fish or whatever. I like it. Not especially fishy, but not as tasty as the Brunswick Butterfish Fillets one.

Sumptuous isn’t usually a word I would use for canned fish.
I’ve had various producers sardines throughout the years. Some of them I got through local markets and some via the mail. They were all at least OK. These are beyond OK. They’re so delicate and tender and flavorful. It’s like if sardines were made of the creamiest whipped butter. And then seasoned just right. I highly recommend these, you won’t go wrong getting them. I would serve these at any black-tie event.

Enjoyable healthy snack
Very happy with this product, it tastes just like the Mediterranean style mackerel that I really enjoyed, In the picture I have a comparison next to chicken of the sea in mustard which are also sprats.

Great value
Brunswick sardines are getting to be some of the best value in canned fish. They’re not quite up to the best King Oscars in flavor or texture, but they’re very, very, good, and the price is excellent for this level of quality.

Good flavor, great snack, over priced
Really good flavor, but you can save your money and just add the olives yourself. A little pricey for what you get.
