Great play set!
I ordered this for my 5 year old son who LOVES playing with little figures! It comes in a very convenient case and easily builds and disassembles for storage! He has spent hours playing and imagining with this set! I highly recommend this as a gift or to add to any playroom.

Sturdy, quality toys that more than measure up.
This product exceeded my expectations, and was a perfect fit for my son's Christmas gift. He specifically asked for knights, and I figured at first it would be an easy request to fulfill. Apparently though, finding a decent knight playset is harder to do than one would think. This one included plenty of knights, a castle and some other accessories to encourage imagination and keep them busy for a while. The quality of the knights was a lot better than I expected, and they are of a decent weight. Not as flimsy as I anticipated, like toy soldiers you buy in bulk. These are much better and larger than the toy soliders so that was a very pleasant surprise. They are different colors and variations, and don't appear cheap at all. Quality is definitely a safe word to use for them! The carrying case they come in is a sturdy plastic tote with the flip up/down secure tabs and a nice handle. This keeps them together and easy to put away and keep organized when not in use, and as a bonus can be repurposed for anything you'd use a tote for! I like that, because it's less bulky or cheap packaging and more useful and thoughtful containers. I would definitely be curious to try other products from this company and see what kind of quality they offer in other toys.

Good product!
I got this product primarily to use as a prop for my son’s birthday cake. He’d been begging for a “castle cake” and I wanted something that he could play with after the fact as well. We just used the front portion of the castle as the prop for the cake and it looked great! Now he’s loving playing with the medieval characters and it’s gotten a lot of use in the week that we’ve had it. One thing I will add: adult assembly of the castle is recommended. Not sturdy and durable enough for a 3 year old to attempt to put together. One little piece chipped off of one of the attachments, but it’s definitely still functional.

Castle
My 4 yr old grandson loved this. Big pieces easy to connect together. I loved that it all comes in a tote to store and not loose parts.

BUYER BEWARE
We bought this with the intention to decorate a cake for my son's knight and princess birthday party (medieval theme.) The drawbridge was clearly used! Gouges and scratch marks, obviously from play! I'm glad some kid before us got to enjoy the toy, and I love the idea of recycling, but It's deceitful to sell a product as new when it has been used. I'm a bit grossed out since we wanted to use this with our cake and then feed the cake to our guests! I guess I'll use fondant to make the castle cake instead. The gold battlement was also worn-out in spots. Don't get me wrong, my 4 year old will still be able to play with it and love it, but it really grinds my gears to pay full price for something I could have picked up USED at my neighbors yard sale. It does come in a nice bucket/container.

Pretty low quality set, but a hit for a 5 year old
I think there are much higher quality sets out there. My guess is this set won’t last too long before the cheap plastic breaks, unfortunately. The 5 year old I gifted this to actually really loved it, though. It was the first gift he wanted to play with. With a little adult assistance for assembly it went up pretty quickly. The mini catapult was fought over by multiple kids. Some of the included weapons could go in the soldiers hands, which was cool.

Great detail, fun for grandson
This was a gift for our 3-1/2 year old grandson. He loves it! The castle walls fit together to make a square, and the figures are brightly painted. The “jail” on wheels is inspired - don’t see that too often. The catapult really works, too! The shields are too small, but that’s an historical critique - if they were bigger they might not be able to fit in the hands of the knights. Suggestions for improvement from an adult perspective: 1. Make the shields with a knob of some sort that would make them easier to snap into place. 2. Make one of the figures able to ride the horse. 3. Include a couple of female characters. All in all, this is a great playset, especially for the price. Grandson loves setting up all the knights.

The castle is way too small for the knights and other figures provided! The castle is actually tiny - 27 cms square. The figures are almost as large as the height of the castle walls! You really should put the dimensions in the product description, or alternatively put a common household object like a coffe cup in the picture for scale. Very disappointed!
